Honeycomb blind six feet wide with rope on right. When using the rope to raise blind, right side of blind goes up normally, but left side lags by six inches. Is there a way to make blind move level?

If by in or out you mean make the beam pattern move closer or farther away from the vehicle, then yes you can. There are adjustment screws (usually 2) on each headlamp assembly. One raises and lowers the headlamp. This will move the beam closer to (down) or further from (up) the vehicle. The other will adjust the beam from left to right. The screw at the top (or bottom) is for the vertical and the screw on the side is for horizontal. The easiest way to adjust the headlamps correctly is to, at night, go to a location where you can park about 50 feet away from a blank wall. Turn on the low beam headlamps. In order to "properly" adjust the lamps, the left side headlamp's main beam should cast is "ring" on the wall at about the centerline of the car (left-to-right adjustment), with the bottom of the beam just reaching the ground (vertical adjustment). The right side headlamp should be adjusted to shine along the right edge of the vehicle (where the white edge line would be) at the 50 foot mark (left-to-right) and the height should be the same as the left headlamp - beam just touching the ground. Many people make the mistake of pointing them straight down the road. This causes "overspray" into the oncoming lanes and blinds oncoming motorists. Headlight height for mot

Hello, If you have a State mandated headlight aim requirement, just ask at a testing facility for the specs. Usually you have the vehicle about 20-25 feet from a wall and the headlights should be no higher than 42" off the ground.
You would set the drivers side beam slightly to the right and lower than the right hand beam. This way, you do not blind oncoming cars, but can adjust the right side to view the curb farther ahead than the left.

With the new 39" high mini-compact cars, the beams would point skyward, just as a 4x4 raised suspension pick-up would point downward.

Its a case of a standard equally applied to every vehicle and not giving the best results. Myself, I adjust the righthand beam up and out so that a curb or lane marker will keep me centered in my lane.

I need to know how to do the blind stitch hem

In brief, you need to fold the fabric to be hemmed into a Z shape with the wrong side hem edge at the bottom of the Z.

The Blind stitch is either three straight stitches then a wide zig zag which swings to the left and catches a little bit of the folded edge, or three small zig zags, then one wide zig zag to the left to catch one stitch into the folded edge. The zig zag style has a little more stretch in it so works good on jerseys and knits.
tally_girl_0.gif You need to use the blind hemming foot which helps you to line up the folded edge and keep it at a constant distance from the needle. It will look like this.
tally_girl_53.jpg Turn the little silver screw to move the white plastic guide left or right until you've got just a smidgen of fabric being stitched by the left wide stitch. Always do a practice sample first to get the stitching and guide set right. On most machines you can vary the width of the big zig by adjusting the stitch width dial a little.

You need to adjust the blind hemming foot guide so that the needle is just catching a tiny amount of your folded fabric because this is the stitch which shows on the right side of the fabric when you unfold the Z. So forget trying to hem satin or expensive fabrics this way, a hand sewn stitch will give a much better finish.

Blind hemming works best on a hem which is continuously straight on the same grain line, its not great for a curved hem. So if you've got a tiered skirt or the frill on a bed valance, it is fine as the fabric edge to be hemmed will be a continuous straight length. You can use it on a slightly curved hem for jerseys as the fabric has more give, and patterns will help to disguise the stitching too.

How to play omaha

To start a new hand two "Blind" bets are put up or "Posted." The player immediately to the left of the player with the dealer button puts up or "posts" the small blind which is approximately half the minimum bet. The small blind for the $2/4 game is one dollar. The player to the left of the small blind posts the big blind which is equal to the minimum bet which is three dollars for this game. The rest of the players do not put up any money to start the hand. Because the button rotates around the table, each player will eventually act as the big blind, small blind and dealer. It will cost you three dollars every time the deal makes a complete rotation around the table.

The Opening
After the blinds are posted each player is dealt four cards face down with the player on the small blind receiving the first card and the player with the dealer button getting the last card. The first betting round begins with the player to the left of the big blind either putting in two dollars to "Call" the blind bet, or putting in four dollars to "raise" the big blind or folding his hand. The betting goes around the table in order until it reaches the player who posted the small blind. That player can call the bet by putting in one dollar since a dollar bet was already posted. The last person to act is the big blind. If no one has raised, the dealer will ask if they would like the option. This means the big blind has the option to raise or just "check."

The Flop
e cards are dealt and turned face up in the middle of the table. This is known as the "Flop." These are community cards used by all the players. Another betting round begins with the first active player to the left of the dealer button. The minimum bet for this round is also three dollars.

The Turn
When the betting round after the flop is completed, the dealer burns another card and turns a fourth card face up in the middle of the table. This is referred to as the "Turn." The minimum bet after the turn is now six dollars and begins again with the first active player to the left of the button.

The River
Following the betting round for the turn, the dealer will burn another card and turn a fifth and final card face up. This is called the "river," and the final betting round begins with six dollars being the minimum bet. There is usually a three or four raise maximum during all betting rounds except if the play becomes heads up with two players. Then the raises are unlimited.

The Showdown
To determine the winner, the players MUST use two of his hole cards and three cards from the "Board" to form the highest five-card hand. In some cases two players will tie which happens quite often in Omaha Hi/Lo. In that case the players will split the pot. A sixth card is never used to break a tie.

blind hem foot is good if you want to machine stitch a hem but not have a seam showing. it will have an adjustable piece you can move left or right with a screw. but blind hemming works best on straight grain and not on a curve like a skirt hem unless its a knit fabric that gives. to make a blind hem press the hem allowance up then turn the main garment piece back to form a Z shape. you then stitch along the hem side with your blind hem foot guidr running along the top fold and use the blind hem stitch which looks like three little zigzags then one big zig far to the left onto your folded piece taking a little 'bite' - this stitch shows on the right side when you press the top of the Z back flat. so you need to adjust the foot position and how wide the needle swings to minimise this stitch showing. hope this makes sense and helps you with your sewing.

You can adjust them with either a philips screwdriver or hex head. I recommend parking on flat surface about 15 feet away from garage door or wall and set them. Or go to shop and have them use an alignment machine to do it.

Slowly walk ahead until you see the jumping Kritter. Jump on him when you get under the high rope and ride up, jump to the left and use ther barrel to break the wall and enter a bonus level. You have to spell out KONG. The prize is an Expresso token. After exiting, jump off and jump onto the two Kritters. Jump onto the rope. At the top, jump off, pick up the DK barrel and kill the Army with it. Jump onto the rope, and when you get to the top, jump off and you will land on the K

Run to the right and jump onto the rope. In the middle there is a barrel. Choose Diddy before you pick it up. Jump down and break it into the left wall to enter the bonus level. In this level, you have to spell out NINTENDO. You win a red balloon if you do this. After the bonus level, run right, and kill the army, and jump over the Zinger onto the rope. When you get to the top, jump onto the left rope to avoid the Zinger, then the right, then the left. Jump to the left, and if you want the banana bunch, kill the Necky and jump up there.
