hello, my remote suddenly stopped working. the light is responding, even changed batteries, but tv is not responding. i programmed the remote with the code book several months ago. tv was off for about a month, but then everything was working fine when i turned it back on. just overnight it stopped working.....please help

I have the phillips PM 335 and am trying to use it on a sanyo tv, I don't have the code book and it is stuck on video 2 so I can't let it self program because there are no channels on vid 2....................please help

Take the remote to your local Radio Shack and have it tested.. They used to carry IR cards and now have a pen-like tester that can tell if the remote is operating properly. Then, if you're sure the code is correct, you probably will have to have the IR detector in the Tv replaced...
