LG front load washer leaves clothes soapy. Yes cleaned trap and drum and use correct HE detergent. What else can it be?

front load machines can be soo frustrating-try using less detergent-you might try running a sanitizing cycle with a quarter cup of dry dish washer soap-sounds like your rinse cycle isn't working do you have an option for a 2nd rinse cycle-cheers Denny

Load come off smelly

The odor that you are experiencing may be from the growth of mold. Inside the washer, some small pools of water may be left standing and is harboring mold spores. Even though you may operate the washer regularly, the mold spores are not being washed away.I have a couple of tips that might help to eliminate odor issues in your washing machine. First, and the most effective in my research is to, leave the lid, or door to the unit open. By leaving the door open, it promotes air circulation and evaporation of standing water. The reduction in odor, will occur quickly.

My second tip is to run the washer empty for a quick rinse cycle. Add an entire cup of bleach at the start of the cycle or vinegar. The bleach is effective at destroying organisms, such as mold and bacteria. However, running it once will not be effective. I suggest pouring another cup of bleach into the wash tub, after the cycle has completed. This will leave bleach as the standing pool and should prevent the growth of mold or bacteria. However, if you do this, before doing a load of laundry you should run an empty rinse cycle again, to avoid damage to the clothes from the bleach left standing in the unit

Kenmore front Loader washer leaking from bottom

I want you to run an empty load, pour 3-4 cups of white vinager into the soap dispencer, this will flush out detergent buildup, it sounds like the unit has a buildup of soap and is oversudsing, the vinager wash will stop it from happening, if this stops the problem cut the amount of soap you are using in 1/2. If it does not let me know, good luck

Hi We Have a ge front load washer and dryer and it seems that our clothes smell musty at times. I've tried leaving the door open on the washer when not in use. Could there be another prooblem??

Try using vinegar, baking soda, or bleach in an empty load to counteract any residues left in onboard water. Also check for debris stuck in door baffle(rubber sleeve between door and tub).

NOTE(Follow the procedure correctly as stated. If the issues persist, this may lead to a deceased rodent, or small mice that has crawled into the unit to die. This is highly uncommon, but possible)
