Clean light stays on after cleaning is done - Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines

Check the wire(s) at the sending unit. If they are connected, try replacing the sending unit.

Possible that the door switch had been tampered or is locked to stay closed and so the light wont be triggered. So check the door switch and finally the lamp holder and lamp. One of this was tampered when the cleaning was done. Can be a loose connection of the lamp, switch or holder, use switch cleaning oil to clean.

Turn the power off after you clean and rinse it. Leave it off for a minute. Plug it back in and all's well.

Try cleaning the orfice for the pilot light. You will have to dis-assemble the fuel lines from the thermostat to the burner to get at it. The orfice has an extremly small hole in it, do not make it any larger, just clean it out.

Your problem may be due to corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, the camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

Fill water reservoir with 1/3 carafe distilled white vinegar, 2/3 carafe water and hit the self-clean button - it will take about 35 mins to complete. When it is done, it will beep like it normally does when brewing regular coffee. Self-clean light should go off after this. If it doesn't, simply unplug the machine for 20 minutes or longer. The manual is available for your inspection on the Cuisinart website.
If your Cuisinart is one that is missing the Self-Clean function, just brew the vinegar and water like it is coffee by using the brew function.

If you open the door after the cycle, does it clear the display? Mine is a different maytag model, and when it's done it shows the display as clean. The display will go blank when I open the door manually... let me know if that helps.

Check your breakers and also your wiring. Try to turn off the breakers for about 10-15 seconds. Your board inside the control panel may be bad since you are getting mixed signals.

the red light tells you it is cleaning, a green flashing light tells you it's charging
