The short answer is as much as you can persuade someone to give you for it - which probably won't be as much as you want or expect.

Sewing machines sold in large numbers and rarely wore out and unusually they continued to be useful in spite of advancing age so only a few machines are worth "antique" money. It is a similar story with most heritage tools where the main value is of an example of social history or as a simple curiosity. You will probably need to contact a dedicated collector for a definitive answer and if it is super collectible then a specialist auction would be the best way to dispose of it.

Many antique sewing machines are being donated to charities because the owners can't bear to think of such reliable friends being sold for pennies or ending up in the furnace. Charities check/repair the machines and send them to developing countries. Treadle machines used to be in high demand but the shipping costs have escalated so much the demand is now for hand-cranked or simple electric machines.

One such charity is Tools For Self Reliance.

If you would add the model number or name of your older Kenmore sewing machine, I might be able to provide you with more specific information. All you need to do is click or tap on Comment and add the model number or name of your Kenmore sewing machine in the Comment box.

Just about any store selling sewing supplies and sewing machine supplies will sell the sewing machine oil and grease which can be used on any sewing machine.

Read instructions here:

Value is not easy, but they are not worth as much as you probably think it is.

Antique Singer Sewing Machine AE993349. Looks

You have a model 221 which was made on May 24, 1938 at the Elizabethport factory in Elizabethport, New Jersey. There were 20,000 of those made during that particular run which may have been over a few days.

Its value depends on its overall condition and what someone is willing to pay for it. Sight unseen, I would estimate market value for that machine in good running order at between $250 and $400.
