I had a similar problem - the center terminal where the light bulb screw in became somewhat corroded. If you turn off the power, you can clean these with a small piece of fine sandpaper - then bend them slightly outward so that when the bulb is screwed in, they make good contact. If that doesn't work, and you have a voltmeter - check the voltage at each bulb socket to make sure the internal wiring is ok. Not to overstate the obvious - but make sure the bulbs are ok too....

Question about light bulb problem in ceiling fan

Check wiring @ ceiling. Should b a black, white, green & red wire coming frm fan. Green is ground. Black & Red is power. White is neutral. Black provides power to fan, red provides lat power 4 lights. Remove light assembly, blue wire provides power. B sure 2 turn off power 2 fan b 4 working on it w/switch & breaker. Maybe lose wire connection or pinched wire grounding out. Fans require vibration proof bulbs regular bulb elements will break after short time use. Fan bulbs have larger filiments inside bulb.

Broan bath fan light

probably you cross the wire, read the manual, check the wire first.

connect all the white wires together, connect the black wire from the hot source to the one side of the switch and connect another side to the light, this is for the light. and do the same for the fan.

the factory use either red or the black for hot, white for the neutral and green for the ground.

I hope this can help you.

Sounds like the remote receiver units (located where the mains connect to the fans) took a surge and have failed.
