I JUST EXPERIENCED THE SAME SITUATION HERE IS THE SOULTION YAMAHA SENT ME TO RESET THE SYSTEM HTR-5990 YAMAHA HTR-5990 FACTORY PRESET PROCEDURES All models require the STANDBY/ON button to be turned OFF to start the reset process. NOTE: The remote control cannot be used during the reset procedure. All necessary buttons to complete the reset process are located on the front panel of the receiver. This procedure is not intended to correct intermittent shut-off symptoms or problems MODEL: HTR-5990 (U.S.A. model/s) (BEFORE YOU CONTINUE, PLEASE READ THE ABOVE NOTES!) 1. Before you start this procedure, locate the MASTER ON/OFF button and the STRAIGHT/EFFECT button on the Front Panel of the unit. 2. MAKE SURE THAT YOUR RECEIVERS MASTER ON/OFF HAS BEEN TURNED OFF. 3. With the Right Hand, press and hold the STRAIGHT/EFFECT button. With the Left Hand, press the MASTER ON/OFF button and HOLD both buttons for no more than 3 SECONDS, AT THE SAME TIME. SP IMP. * 8 MIN. will appear on the display, which indicates you are in the Diagnostics Mode. 4. Rotate the PROGRAM KNOB to the right (ONCE) until the display reads PRESET *CANCEL. 5. The reset procedure will clear an incorrect setting that might be causing abnormal operation. GOOD LUCK

SOURCE: technics hifi speaker cover
Hi There Elvis,
Obtaining the exact copy will be difficult...as follows---
The manufacturer makes production runs then moves onto the next model, only certain original parts are kept for spares then once these are all sold then the spares become obsolete..
There maybe different shades of colour on the speaker material
and it usually fades in use anyway from sunlight and other UV factors.
I would suggest that you make the repair yourself. The speakers them selves are worth saving so if you can ease the front covers of and work out how to remove the material 'matt'. There are curtain shops that sell material so you could go there and choose a material that tones in with your lounge colours and just
install the new material yourself....
The other alternative is to advertise for second hand speakers for this Technics model and replace the complete speakers cover fronts and all...you could watch the for sale sections alos on the internet or newspaper...
Cheers from YUBEUT...

The problem is, that your SH-AC300 needs an amp with 5.1 input (but no decoder). For this purpose technics delivered SA-AX710.
So if you'd like to use your current equipment it would be impossible.
The only option is for you to buy 2 more Power Amps (SE-A900S), so that each of 3 amps would take care for one part of music. (one for FL, FR; one for RL, RR; and one for sub and center).
Another option is for you to buy SA-AX710. Then all the problems would be solved with it.
