Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I have a uniden bc72xlt can i put in police frequideneny

Hi - this scanner will allow you to monitor any service (police, fire, EMS, Weather, Ham, FRS , GMRS, and lots more) that transmits an analog AM or FM signal in the 25-88Mhz, 108-174Mhz or 406-512Mhz range.

You will need to determine frequencies of the services of interest in your area and program them into the radio's memory. You can find frequencies in books sold online and places like Radio Shack. You will probably find a lot of frequencies by looking at Google results for them. Have a look at my link to the search results for "Boston, MA Scanner Frequencies" below:

    http://preview.tinyurl.com/cgn5bzs

You should try typing your city, town or county over "Boston MA" and click search to get a list of frequencies in your area. You may also want to check out the Scanner Master website for additional help if you like.

    Good luck!

THAT DEPENDS ON YOUR RECEIVER AND YOUR AREA YOU LIVE. First google your town or county to find frequency. Program the receiver for that frequency and see if it works.

Where can I find frequencies for police, fire etc?.

Your local Radio Shack store sell scanner books based on geographical location and used to (still might) on types of services you're interested in monitoring. This was before the internet, so the demand has dropped considerably as most folks can get what they're looking for simply by googling a search term like "Boston scanner frequencies" or "Cook County IL Scanner Frequencies" etc (drop the quotation marks and insert your town, city, county or state. You may also find websites that are designed to host an online community of local scanner enthusiasts - which trade frequencies, and other info.

    Good luck!

Need code for columbia co. ga 30907

    1. Type in this URL address-http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/indexnw.htm.

    2. Click on your state

    3. Find the county you live in. The S.A.M.E. code should be listed in the "SAME#" column. If you have two codes for your county, it probably means one of the codes transmits for different regions of your county. No problem, all you have to do is check your frequency station. Whatever frequency receives the best reception for your county (for example 162.450), put in the S.A.M.E code for the county that has that frequency.

    Need code for washington county

    1. Type in this URL address-http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/indexnw.htm.

    2. Click on your state

    3. Find the county you live in. The S.A.M.E. code should be listed in the "SAME#" column. If you have two codes for your county, it probably means you have more than one frequency channel for your county. No problem, all you have to do is check the frequency channels for your county. Whatever frequency receives the best reception for your region (for example 162.450), try that on the radio along with punching in its S.A.M.E code.
