SHARK NV90 VACUUM BEATER BAR DOES NOT ROTATE - WHAT IS MY PROBLEM?

Most beaters are driven by a rubber belt driven off a shaft from the motor. Check this is in place, and wrapped around both the shaft and the beater bar (they can break). If this is OK, try to move the bar by hand- it may be jammed by fibres, hair, or other material that has wrapped around the bar. If this is the case, cut along the fibres and remove.

How to Find Shark Parts and Accessories

.

There seems to be many people that are looking for parts and accessories for their Shark products. Shark does have a website where they sell parts and accessories for their products.

Whether you are looking for parts for you Steam product, Upright vacuum, Garment care product, or your hand or cordless vacuum, you can find any of the available parts here.

Go to http://www.sharkclean.com

Then at the top right under the search box, hover over the parts and accessories tab.

A drop down menu will appear and you can choose which product you want to see the parts for.

Click on that product and you will then see separate boxes for parts and accessories for all of the products in that category.

Click on the product you have and then you will see a list of parts or a list of accessories available for that product.

There are many parts available for their products, but I would not say that they have available every part that could possibly break.

There no parts that pertain to the heating function, so if your product stops making steam for instance, there are no parts that can help you fix that.

Broken handles are fixable and are there. Replacement heads and replacement head coverings are there as would be expected.

If you are in need of parts to fix a product that is not heating, I would suggest looking for used products on Ebay or something like that. Also advertising for a used product may also get you the parts you need...unless of course they are selling it because of the same problem that you had...make sure to check that out first.

Where can I find a replacement ergonomic hand grip and quick release cord wrap for the Shark S3202 steam mop? I'm looking for any sources other than the Shark Euro-Pro company. Thank you.

There are no repair parts for these machines. Shark/ Europro do not make parts. They are disposable. When they break, you're expected to throw it away. If you're wise you won't waste your money on another one.

I have a shark navigator and loaned it to a friend. It came back very dirty and I want and need to take the beater bar apart and clean it but after removing the 4 screws, I still can't get the cover

Shark rocket vacuum shuts down

Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.

Some Shark vacuums have a built-in safety system that stops the machine if it begins to overheat. This usually happens because the filter needs washing or your machine is blocked. If your machine turns off on its own, unplug it and leave it for at least an hour to cool down. Remember to check the filter and look for blockages before re-starting.

Shark model V1700Z The handle broke off at the

Look it up online. I found a place that charges 7.95 for the part & 6.99 shipping. Get the Model # off the bottom. Mine is V1700Z. And look it up that way on Google or Bing. I think it's listed online as EuroPro.
My servers love this little baby, but they keep breaking that little piece. I understand that the rechargible batteries may wear out in a year, but I have yet to have a handle base last that long.
A Bissel sweeper costs more, clogs faster & does not do as nice of a job. so even if I have to replace it 2x a year, it's not a total, loss

Parts list for model: EP754 The plastic  hose connecter from hose to vac cracked i need new connector

Shark vacuums generally are not repairable - in this case, Shark doesn't sell just the part; ya gotta buy the entire power head. And it costs more than the vacuum did new.

Shark's are considered throw-aways; when they break they're done.

It'd REALLY be nice if Linens 'N Things hadda told me that BEFORE I bought the vacuum.

And by the way, LOTS of EP754s break in the same way yours did.
