I can not hear videos on my youtube. How can i fix this problem?

Check to see if any other programs are running that use sound...sometimes they can block YouTube's audio since the program may have a "Hierarchy" over the browser. Check the simple stuff too including speakers and wires and buttons and so on. Check options on your profile just in case, it may work. But if you haven't already, sometimes just a simple restart of the computer works.
Hope that helps ^_^

Am watching you tube videos sound not working what to do

To make sure that you hear sound while watching videos, please try the following:
  • Adjust the volume control on your computer and speakers.
  • Adjust the volume control located in the lower right corner of the YouTube Video Player.
  • Ensure that the volume is up on other video players, such as Quicktime, Real Player, or Windows Media player, as this might affect the video player sound.
  • Try shutting down your computer and then restarting it again.
  • Videos on YouTube are streamed through an Adobe Flash player. For the best viewing experience, we suggest you install the latest version of Adobe Flash after removing any old versions you've installed

If you can't hear sound within videos embedded on other websites or blogs, your computer may be blocking third-party Flash content. To correct this, follow the steps below:

  1. The Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager should display.
  2. Check the box labeled: "Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer."
  3. To ensure the check sticks please click one of the tabs at the top of that box and then click back to the (Global Storage Settings Panel). The box should still be checked.
  4. Once this is complete, close all browser windows and try playing an embedded video.
Please be advised that this action stores a Flash cookie on your computer. Flash enables this by default upon install.

If this step doesn't help, please check your Antivirus and Firewall software to see if you're blocking third party Flash content.

How to embed youtube video into powerpoint

1. Open up PowerPoint and choose a slide that is appropriate for your presentation.

2. Click on View>Toolbars> Control Toolbox>More Controls. Scroll down to "Shockwave Flash Object."

3.Draw a box the size you want. Right click on the box and choose "Properties." Double click on "Custom."

4.Copy the URL that you used on your YouTube video (located in the box, not the address line) and paste it in the URL box under "Custom." You'll need to make a few changes to your URL to make it work.

5.Delete the "watch?" and replace the equal sign with a forward slash. Make sure the "embed movie" box is unchecked. Click "Apply" and "OK."

6. Save your presentation to where you want it. Then open it and check to make sure the video is working properly.

Dont forget to rate my solution. Thumbs Up!

No sound from you tube videos, other sound on PC just fine...............

There are 2 likely problems:

1 - Next to the "play" button below the video, there is a speaker icon. Hold your mouse over it and a bar will appear. Make sure the slider isn't all the way over to the left.

2 - In the bottom right corner of your desktop, next to the clock, there's another speaker icon. While youtube is open, right click it, and select "open volume mixer." Check that the slider for internet explorer (or firefox etc. if you use it) is up the top - you may need to scroll across to find it if you have several programs open

No audio with videos

When playing videos in YouTube and has no sound maybe the cause of the following errors:
  1. The volume control of the video itself is in mute mode, to solve this problem refer to the YouTube video controls, particularly the volume button.
  2. The volume control of the headset or speaker is in the low mode, to solve that problem check the volume control of the speaker or the headset.
  3. The volume control in the computer task-bar sound icon is in mute mode, when the icon has "x" means the sound is not working, to solve that problem click the icon and remove the check in the small boxes at the bottom that causes the disappearance of sound.
  4. The computer has no installed audio devices although you have the audio hardwares, I am referring to compatible audio drivers in order to work the device, to solve it please check your devices in My Computer>>Manage>>Devices. When there are exclamatory sign to some devices that maybe the sounds, so better look for compatible drivers in order for it to work.
  5. The sound cord maybe plugged in a wrong socket, to solve it please observe the color coding or refer to the manual. And if doesn't work in front panel please do it in a back panel. To ensure that the front panel is working you should open the case and look for that little power cords that have to be connected to the motherboard.
  6. The hardware might have no power especially speakers because they require power to work so better check the power cord if it is connected.
  7. If the foregoing are not helpful please ask the technical support of your supplier.

No sound

First of all you should check that all the following are at the right level:
1. The volume control of you computer (bottom right) and the volume of your speakers. Easiest way to check that nothing is wrong with your audio board and speakers is to check whether you can hear sound from other programs (like Winamp). 2. The volume of the YouTube Player. 3. Sometimes, if the volume is low in other players (like quicktime, Windiws Media Player, Real Player), the sound inside your browser can be low as well. 4. Restart your computer. 5. Make sure that you have teh latest version of Adobe Flash Media Player.
Now, if you've checked all these and you still get no sound please proceed to the second stage of the process:
1. Follow the link: This should open the Settings Manager for your Adobe Flash Media Player. 2. Check the box which says: "Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer." 3. In order to make sure that the check remains enabled just click on of the tabs in the upper part of the box and then click back to Global Storage Settings Panel. Normally, the box should still be checked. If it's not, your browser is not installed properly, and that might be the same cause for your sound issue as well. 4. Restart your browser. 5. Check if you've got sound or not. 6. In case all these didn't work it's almost surely a problem caused by an Antivirus or Firewall which block thrid-party Flash content.

I cannot hear callers on my HTC 8125 unless I put them on speakerphone.

Your earpiece speaker may have gotten disconnected or gone bad. To repair, you must open the phone and look for a loose wire on the speaker and on the board. Replacement speakers can be purchased on-line or on ebay. You can find instructable videos on Youtube to show you how to open your phone.
