Which are the best speakers for my car - swift VDI?

It depends on your musical tastes, but for quality, I recommend Infinity or JBL. They are worth the money. If you don't want to buy an additional amplifier, get the most expensive speakers that you can afford. That way, they will make your deck's internal amplifier sound the best with its limited power output.

I only have one actual speaker wire for my surround sound system so I was wondering if I can use the speaker wire from the sub and amp in my car?

Technically, yes that will work. The wire from your car speakers is meant to carry more of a load, hence the bigger gauge of wire, but it'll all conduct the same. You might just have trouble getting the connection to sit well. Your best bet is to go get some home theater speaker wire from the closest hardware store or radio shack.

Clip light

It sounds like one side of the power amp has shorted. May be hazardous to the speaker so best take it to a shop for repair. If speaker stills sounds OK, probably the clip detector transistors have failed.

Strange buzzing sound

Hi there! If it is an anoying sound I would personally have it checked if still under warranty. It may be a bad coil or transformer in the power supply. Enjoy what you paid for rather than sitting with a fault that might cost you extra later on. Best Wishes and Good Luck, JUS004

I cannot get my speaker to work on my dell dimension 4700. Speakers will work on other computer. Just had the hardrive switched on computer but they said that the speakers were working there. I have tried...

Hi,
The speaker jack is coloured green on newer computers and usually sits alongside a blue and a pink jack. Firstly, make sure your speakers are plugged into the green socket. If this doesn't solve the problem, you need to check in "device manager to make sure your sound card is installed correctly. Make sure the sound card is listed in "device manager" then make sure there is no yellow dot next to your sound card. If there is a yellow dot next to your device, it's a simple matter of downloading the correct driver for the sound card. If you need further assistance regarding this don't hesitate to ask me.
Best wishes,
Graemevm

No SOund for my TR-2810 Theater Research System

Easy sound check, if you have two other known working speakers connect them to see if you get any sound. If you dont then its either the wire is Bad or possible bad connection on the amplifier speaker outs. Confirm connections are properly placed. Try again with test speaker. Basically just verify the known so the unknown can be uncovered, metaphorically speaking. Do this and you will be one with the speakers. Muawhahahaa!!!

Not to look down upon your speakers, however realize these are those junk ones getting sold out of vans in home dopot parking lots throughout the country or at least in my neck of the woods. I was approached by one of these cheap speaker selling vans a few years back. In fact I have a friend who had some of these sitting in his living room. Said they were an old roommate's speakers. I said let's give these shitz a listen and boy did they stink. All I remeber was asking if the bass was up. This was an onkio amp and said yes and they sounded like crud. Unplugged and disconnected within minutes. Garbage!!

In summary do your research before purchasing, question the unquestionable before believing anything. This reads beyond speakers. Best of wishes.......

Yamaha HTR-5840 best eq setting to start or use as base line

there are many settings 1.distance (This is the distance between you and the speakers) if your sitting say 6 ft away then you set it to 6 and so on (all front speakers should be lined up the same distance from you) The rear speakers are set up the same way (distance from where you are sitting) then 2. small and large (always pick large for best sounf)3.Tone (this is more a matter of choice) play around a bit with it! the sub should be at least one foot from the wall for best sound! I keep my center chanek a little lower then the other channels for best sound !

there's a small sub that looks like a normal speaker which sits facing the cloth. however the sound comes from the hole on the front of the unit.
