There are lots of reasons this could be happening. Do you already have another installation of Microsoft Office on the machine? If so, it may be trying to reuse some of the old destination information from the registry. Are you trying to perform the installation while logged in as an Administrator? If not, you may not have rights to install to the selected folder. Look at the name of the folder and try to navigate there yourself in My Computer - can you get there? If not, the drive may not be valid or the permissions on the folder may be restricting your access. If you can get there, manually try to create a new document there. Can you? If not, permissions on the folder may be restricting your ability to write there. If this didn't help, get back to us with more info, or contact MaverickSolutions.biz, and we'll try to be of more service.

Need to re-install ms office 2007-get setup.CHM error- for XP - n/disk

The setup.CHM error appears when the previous install is still there in some form. Run the uninstaller if it still appears in Programs, then manually locate and wipe all the Office folders left in in C - especially those in Docs and Settings. Now reboot and run install and run a cleaner like this one. Now reboot once more and install and run a registry cleaner like this one. Reboot once more and you will now be able to reinstall.

Crc failed in Enterprise.ww\enterww.cab

Based on my experience there are many reasons that this issue may occur. I
suggest you try the following suggestions:

* Suggestion 1: Clear Temp folders
======================
1. Click Start>Programs>Accessories>Disk Cleanup
2. Clear your Temporary Internet files and temp files.
3. Restart the PC.
4. Copy your Office 2007 files and folders to a local folder.
5. Double click on the Setup.exe to start the install process.

* Suggestion 2: Check the Environment Variables
====================
I remember I have resolved some similar issues that the users report Office
2007 has failed to install. I have figured out this is caused by the wrong
configuration of the user variables. To check it, please follow the steps
below:

1. Right click on Computer, and choose Properties
2. In the Tasks list that appears on the left, click Advanced system
settings.
3. Click Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
4. Under User variables for user name, check if TEMP is configured as the
following value: "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp"

* Suggestion 3: Install under Vista safe mode
======================
Please try to install Office 2007 under Vista safe mode:

1. Restart Windows.
2. At the boot sequence, long press F8 key to invoke startup menu.
3. Choose Safe Mode with network connection on the menu and press Enter.
4. After Windows starts in this mode, install Office 2007 again and see the
result.

MS Office 2007

Hi,

First uninstall the MS Office 2007 on your system, then go to the target folder directory where you just installed the Office2007, its usually under PROGRAM FILES folder, and locate the right folder (usually named as "Microsoft Office") and DELETE manually this folder.

Second, restart your computer, then try to re-install the Office 2007 again.

I hope this procedure works.
