Just wanted to add/correct: typically not a user-serviceable part, but if you are comfortable, give it a try. Otherwise, have it serviced.

Some suggestions:

  • Turn the printer off for 20 minutes and allow the fuser to cool (this may resolve high temperature fuser errors).
  • Re-seat the cooled fuser assembly (this may resolve other non-temperature related fuser errors).
  • If the printer is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, plug it directly into a wall socket or different circuit (this may resolve errors caused by an inadequate supply of electricity).
  • Try a different power cord (the current power cord may be damaged).
If still a problem, your fuser is faulty and needs to be replaced (typically not a user-serviceable item) by service. Hope this helps.

What is fuser error 50.0 in hp laserjet P1102

50.0 can mean either the fuser has suffered an unrecoverable failure or, the power supply is failing. 95% of the time, it is the fuser that is failing. A rebuilt fuser is more economical and their are very good companies that do just that. The best I have seen that is certified by Hewlett-Packard is PARTS NOW!. They are located in Middleton Wisconsin and they are very reputable. I would check out their website: Laser Printer Parts HP Lexmark Canon Ricoh Parts Now
I have personally been trained on several models of color & black & White HP printers at their facility.I have seen their factory floor where they refurbish the printers and their components.
Best of luck to you.

50.1fuser erro hp5550dn

50.1 Fuser error:Low/No Fuser tempatrature, replace Fuser assembly.
For service engineers: Reason: thermo switch open, remove fuser assembly, dis-assemble up sleeve, check switch continuity, if no continuity, remove switch & just hit gently on aluminum capsule till continuity comes, make sure it should not damage or dent, once continuity comes, clean main thermister & sub thermister, fix it back, power on the printer, chek errors, adjust fuser temperature in low, give prints up to 50 blank copies, chk.. if problem repeated replace Fuser assembly, but success rate is 70% for above exercise. Note: Only professionals can perform this activity..

Hello, the dreaded 49.2F9D Error Turn Power On/Off.

There have been many reports of this error in the HP P3005 Laser Printer. This is a generic fatal error, the root cause is undetermined. It could be related to an application "corrupt data" or faulty printer firmware, or the formatter board, or reports of the fuser causing this problem. The first step in troubleshooting this error is to isolate the printer from any computer source - disconnect from any I/O ports, Network/USB etc... Does the error still report? If NO then an application may be causing, try to isolate the file causing the problem. If YES then Firmware/Formatter/Fuser is likely the problem. A new firmware file can be found here.

Does the error persist after the firmware application? NO problem solved YES? Formatter/Fuser.

Contact a local HP Authorized Service Center for further assistance.
