Hello KAREN DOWLING,

The number 1 reason new generation washers take
EXTENDED times to wash... is the operators
FAILURE to read & heed the need to use te new
HIGH EFFICIENCY DETERGENTS... ("HE").

It may take a while to restore your machines efficiency if this has been going on for a while... USE of common detergents overpowers the sensors that are critical to the
PERFORMANCE of the "HE" washers and it takes
good hot water and proper cleaning agents to restore that efficiency.

There are remedial cleansers that can be purchased and used ...
or the machine my simply NOW NEED REPAIR.

It is ALWAYS best to follow MANUFACTURES
instructions...

The "HE" instruction was not a SUGGESTION...
It was a MANDATE.

We have a dometic wmd1050 front loader washing machine in caravan we did some washing today went through washing cycle ok lights went out on door lock but can't open door how do we open door

The latch assembly broke so you will need to use a screwdriver to manually release the latch. It will not be easy to get the door open, you will need to get in behind the latch and pry slightly to the left. The parts breakdowns are available below so you can see what you are up against. See the 4th page at the URL below.

How to remove filters in dometic airconditioner in 2012 winnebago

There should be 2 squeeze clips at one side of the intake cover. Squeeze these inwards and the intake cover will swivel down. The filter(s) should then slide out. Wash them. Do not vacuum or brush as that will wreck the filter material. Just under a running tap is fine.

I have a new caravan with a dometic front loader washing machine. In the manual it says you do not have to do pre wash but I cannot see anywhere to turn this off so as not to do it. I do not need to do...

Hi Debra from retired Englishman in SW France,

As the manual does not show you how to turn it off, it probably is not possible! Just do not waste detergent by putting any in the pre-wash compartment- presuming it has one? If it doesn't have a pre-wash compartment, it doesn't do pre-wash anyway ;-0)

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Take it off,the plastic inside vents, with soap water and a hose wash it.  Outside condendor and inside evapator, making sure the drain is open and outside shroad removed, brush off fthe loose stuff. wet both units, put liquid dishwashing soap on both. Spray then through , with a hose untill they rince clean.  While up there. Oil the motor if possible.  Keep the drain clear and open, making sure none of the water is getting into the RV.

Have a Dometic WMD 1050 front load washing machine and can not open the door

Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 3 seconds.

Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.

Works for other machines..............And please rate me if helped
