Question about Televison & Video
Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

This sounds like a microprocessor controller problem?? Try to reset the tv by unplugging overnight and starting fresh in the am. If it will go in av then your all set BVut if it dosent go into the menu to see if theres any kind of lockout in the set up for the av. If not then youll have to have the set looked at by a pro. I am having the same issue with mine. I even set everythign back to factory defaults and it still wil not work. Isn't there any tech support palced to find help? See post by Scriptster. Thanks

SOURCE: AV no longer works!?!
delma11-If your AV was working good before,it is quite possible the AV jacks are cracked away from the pcboard ass'y. If your tv goes into AV mode,try wiggling cables to see if picture comes in.You could also try changing patch cable,let me know if this helps. cooltek Feb.16/08
