How to set the date in sector sge 650 2653960035 watch? Thanks.

Unscrew crown. Some models of Sector Sport watches may have a screw down crown. Watches meant to be used in water will often have this feature. To test this try spinning the crown freely in both directions. If it does not spin freely it has a screw down crown. If your Sector has a screw-down crown, turn it in a counter clockwise motion to unscrew it until it pops free.

Pull crown out one click and set date. If the watch has a date perform this step, if not move on to the next step. Pull the crown out one click. Twist crown clockwise and counter clockwise to set the day and date to the previous days day and date. The purpose of this is to set the date by setting the time and insuring the watch is in the correct a.m. and p.m. mode.

Pull crown out to the next click and set time. Pull the crown out the to next click. This is the time setting mode. Set the time by turning the crown clockwise until the day or date changes to the current date. This is the a.m. mode. Continue to the correct time. If it is a p.m. time this will require moving one full circuit of the dial past the twelve again and then to the correct time. If you fail to do this, the date will change at noon. If there is no date, simply set it to the correct time.

Push in and screw down crown to retain water resistance. Push crown down into its furthest setting. If it is a screw-down crown, press the crown in with a finger and twist it clockwise. Be careful here not to cross thread the crown in the crown tube or it will need to be replaced. It should be smooth and easy to turn. If any pressure or resistance is felt stop and start over. If you fail to screw in a screw down crown your Sector Sport watch will not be water resistant.

The watch stopped ticking

the battery may need replacing
HOW TO START YOUR WATCH

To start your watch remove the plastic guard from

under the crown, then press the crown in against

the case. The second hand will begin advancing in

one-second intervals.

Some deep-depth water-resistant watches require

the setting crown to be screwed in to secure

water-resistance. If your watch case has a protrusion

with screw threads, the crown must be screwed in

after setting the watch.

To screw in, push the crown firmly against the

threaded protrusion and hold in while turning the

crown clockwise. Continue to screw in the crown

until it is tight. You will need to unscrew the crown

(counter-clockwise) before pulling it out the next time
you want to set your watch

SETTING DATE JUST ROLEX

After you unscrew the crown it is already in winding position. If you pull the crown, it will go to the date setting position. Further pull of crown will set it in time setting position. Try to pull the crown till you get it in correct date setting position and change the desired date. Do not use the date setting between 10pm - 2am, as this can damage date mechanism. The best way is to pull out crown to the time setting position and set the time to 6.30(anytime) and then push the crown in to date setting position and change the date to the previous day's date. Then again pull the crown out to the time setting position and advance hands forwards (clock wise) till hands pass 12.00 (midnight) and the date changes automatically to the desired one, then adjust the time, push the crown fully in and screw the crown on.

I cannot pull out the time setting screw on the rhs of a ladies wn311 Tah Heuer.

The time setting screw is more accurately called the crown which is, in your case, a 'screw down crown'. This is done for water resistance. You must first unscrew the crown before you can pull it out. When you are finished setting the watch you must screw it back in. It may require that you press in on the crown and turn it at the same time to get the threads to catch. No need to overtighten it.

Manuel for yacht timer 700 please. Best regards P.Hessner

Could not find a download for instructions on this watch, but I did manage to find some basic instructions for the Sector brand. I hope this helps as this is the best I can come up with.
Good luck.
Sector Chronograph Watch Instructions
  • Most chronograph watches have screw-down crowns for water resistance. You must unscrew the watch crown before you can make any changes to the watch time. After time is set screw the crown back in. To utilize the chronograph dials, use the buttons on the side of the watch. One button will be for the second timer. Press once for the second hand to start timing. Press again to stop it. Another button will be to reset the second hand timer back to zero. Sector Chronograph watches may have different dial functions (see link in References).
  • Sector Dual-Time Watch Instructions
  • Because Sector watches are known for their sports capabilities, the Dual-Time watches have screw-down crowns. For Dual-Time timepieces, unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Pull the crown to middle position to set the date. Pull the crown out to its fully extended position and rotate it to set the day of the week, hour and time. Press and hold in the crown and turn clockwise to seal the crown back in to the watch.
  • Sector Ana-Digi Watch Instructions
  • Sector Ana-Digi timepieces have analog hands plus digital timekeeping functionality. To set the time, unscrew the crown counterclockwise and then clockwise to the appropriate time. The digital functionalities are programmed by the buttons on the side of the case. Depending on the style of the Sector watch, you can set the digital time with one button, set the date display, 1/100 seconds chronograph timer, altimeter, thermometer and alarm functions.

How can i make the date of my tag heuer formula 1 change automaticaly?

    To s e t t h e t i m e a n d d a t e
Your TAG Heuer chronograph is fitted
with a screw-in crown and safety seals
which guarantee it to be waterproof
    to 200 m (660 ft).
Position 0: Crown is screwed in
    (normal position).
    Important: The crown must be
    screwed in correctly to guarantee
    the water-resistance of the watch.
    Position 1: Crown unscrewed.
To change the hour (change of time
zone) or date quickly, unscrew the
crown, pull it out to position 2 (quick
corrector) and turn it in either
direction. This mode allows you to
change the hour and the date without
    any loss of minutes.
The date changes each time the
    hour-hand passes midnight.
To set the time, unscrew the crown,
pull it out to position 3 (setting the
time) and turn it in either direction.
After setting the date or the
time, push the crown back and
    screw in to position 0.

    Steinhausen watch adjustment?

To set time, you need to unscrew crown anti-clockwise direction if you have a screw-in crown watch. You need to softly and slowly pull the crown out a little bit. The best way to do this is to use first and second finger and use finger knuckle as a lever in order to pull the crown out with as little force as possible. You can feel a little "click"! Now you can set the time by turning it anti-clockwise. This would turn the minute-hour hands forward until you set the right time. When time is set, push the button back and screw the crown clockwise for a few rounds to ensure it is screwed back tight.
