What you can try is to get the machine empty and remove the hose that connects the pressure hose to the switch and blow air through it to make sure it is clear, then tap on the nozzle where the hose connects on the switch to make sure it is also clear.

probably wouldnt look under hte agitator for problem. although the trick is to hold t he agitator while loosening hte bolt, it will then lifts right off after bolt removed., i would remove hte cover and perhaps look for a broken spring , bleach sometimes falls through rusting out metal brackets

If that didn't work there is another possible solution... I had the same problem... and since I am cheap I like to make sure I try everything I can before buying parts... so heres what you do...
-Remove the front panel off the washing machine.
-Look on the side of the tub for where the pressure hose attaches to the base of it.
-Check for a build up of gunk in the hose near where the tube meets the tub... you'll probably notice wht looks like mildew... usually you can just pull it apart.
-I used pipe cleaners to clean out the end of the tube (you can usually unattach from both ends to make it wasier to work on)
-Now before you put it back together grab a can of compressed air and use it to blow down into where the hose connects (as there is usually a build up there too).
-Reassemble... TADA... if that fixed it you just saved yourself some $$$.

Improperly installed thrust bearing kit. Too many washers cause the basket to spin during agitation.

Testimonial: "Where is the "thrust bearing kit" and how can it be installed properly?"
Above is a service manual this will show you how to troubleshoot and repair.
