Also, I need to know the correct Output voltage rating on the charger that comes with the headset.

I had the same problem, called support, they told me battery is defective or too old and doesn't accept the charge. Battery in a headset is hardwired and can't be replaced, so the whole thing is trash :(

Hi,
It is possible that one of the soldered terminals/pins of the power jack of the laptop is disconnected. You can try gently moving the plug of the Charger/AC adapter while connected and see if an indicator light will lit (even if momentarily). If yes, then it is safe to assume that a terminal/pin is loose and would need to be resoldered. If no, then since there is power from the Charger/AC adapter, the laptop's internal circuitry maybe at fault. Most probably parts in the regulator circuitry. This could be as simple as a surface mounted fuse or a 3 terminal voltage regulator. In any case, the unit has to be opened and diagnosed. To do so, you must be familiar with electronic components/circuitry, use of a DVM and a low wattage soldering iron. Should you be uncomfortable with this, perhaps your best bet would be to seek the services of a qualified laptop technician.
Hope this be of some idea/help. Post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.

Do you have the Jabra bluetooth part that goes into your computer? You have to go to your phone settings under bluetooth and make it sync up. Your phone will sync, not your headset. You are trying to sync the wrong thing.

You need to have a bluetooth stack installed, so that you have "bluetooth places" available, where you can link up the headset.
A good instruction (for XP) is shown here.
Bluesoleil is definitely a good option.

The AC adaptor, of course, is the unit that plugs into the wall. Problems could be that there is no power to this particular receptical or your adaptor could be broken. I suggest that you try several recepts around your home. If none provide you with a charge light, then your adaptory may be faulty. However, My red indicator light does not pulse as the manual says it will either, yet if left long enough, it does charge.
