1. Turn off treadmill.
2. Simultaneously press PROGRAM, ENTER, and START/STOP for about 3 seconds.
3. Maximum speed will be shown in the TIME/PACE display followed by an "E" for English units or an "N" for metric
units. Press START/STOP to change from English units to metric units.
4. Press ENTER.
5. Press START/STOP. Incline and speed will calibrate simultaneously.
6. When successfully completed, TIME/PACE display will show CAL PASS.
7. Press POWER. Your treadmill is ready for use

Testimonial: "thank you for the suggestion. this does not work on the 4650. There seems to be a number of Trimline variations. I also have the 7150 with the same display buttons, but that button sequence doesn't work either. I need to find what the manual specifies for this specific model -- and they are nowhere to be found except for for $44 with shipping. rather expensive for half page of relevant info."

Thanks Tim. Happy NY to you too. I've been scouring the net, trying to figure out how these things are programmed. Trimline has long been out of business.
It seems all is in the display, and the key is finding the exact instructions printed in a manual that paired the 2650 together with the 4650. Numbers can be misleading since there is a manual available online for the 2600 + 4600 series which doesn't work either.
The motor controller board is more generic and used in other treadmills.
What a shame because the Trimline treadmills were really quality products for home treads.
maybe the slight problem I'm having won't be cleared up by calibration. The unit seems to run normally through one cycle. The next power-up, the incline motor won't activate while the display shows the inputs. The deck simply stays at "0" position. Pulling the stop key will reset for one normal cycle only -- very strange, but I guess I can live with it.
I just bought this used and had considered first a Proform 750 found on Craigslist. The was no comparison. Trimline was far superior, super quiet and solid. My 7150 has been indestructable for 16+ years and is still going strong. cheers

My Trimline treadmill 1050.E2 is showing an 'E2' on its screen and not working any more.

Hello all,

I have the same issue - it Shows "E2" on the time Display...

I already checked the Speed sensor and inclination potentiometer and both are OK... Moreover, I found that EEPROM Memory (Microchip 93LC46) is broken (reads "00"). After replacing it, I Need a way to reset / recalibrate the treadmill. I found on some Forums that there shall be a key combination (Speed+ & Start / Stop or similar) but None works for me. Could you please (if available) post the User Manual page describing the calibration entry? Or, maybe, advice a way to calibrate the 1050? Even the EEPROM Content (I guess the it is an issue) will be really helpful. Thank you in advance,
