It indicates the battery is low. Where is it and how do I change it?

The battery or batteries are located inside the unit(s). In the case of the thermostat, the unit has top be removed from the wall to expose the battery compartment. The wireless remote sensor probably contains a separate battery which could need replacing as well.

I accidentally changed the command code from dvd3 to dvd1 and now my remote doesn't work, and I don't know how to access the systems menu to change it back.

Hi,
Since unit has been set on DVD1 remote mode so you need to set remote control itself on dvd1 mode to communicate with unit.
Press and hold Enter and 1 numeric key on remote control for 5 seconds, this will change remote control to dvd1 mode, now unit will accept remote control signal and you can operate it normally.
Thanks.

Want to turn off the annoying beeping sound every time i push a button on the unit, remote or adjust the volume

Turn the unit off by pressing and holding the volume button till it powers down (NOT VIA THE IGNITION SWITCH!) Once off, press and hold the fuction button (located in the top left hand corner near the volume dial) until unit lights up again and a menu appears, near the end of that menu you can change the beep noises to off like volume or when ignition is off but unfortunatly you cannot change the beep for changing track.

Panasonic DMR-EX77 - Error code DVD3

Pan use a version of Linux on the recorder. If you change the hard drive there is a format command in setup to format a new hard drive. Put a DVD in and try selecting and playing both DVD and HHD via the front panel buttons. Sometimes you can get error codes on a unit when the batteries in the remote are low. Try changing them Sometimes the remotes are faulty and not communicating properly. A fix in some cases is to press the number button corresponding to the number shown on the display together with the enter or OK button for at least 2 seconds. Good luck

Try these two. they seem like they'll work. Their both for this unit.

Turn unit on with remote
NO DVD in the tray closed or opened might work
Press TITLE then 1 then 9
Gray box will appear in the center of the screen with number 1 in the middle
Using up/down arrows change to desired region (0 for REGION FREE)

1. Open the DVD tray
2. Press 'STOP' button on the remote control
3. Press '70'
4. Press 'MENU PBC'
5. Use the numeric keypad to select your region code number (0 – 6). 0 is all regions.
6. Press 'Enter'

Panasonic NV-SJ205 Changing Rf ?

ok. This is a really easy one.
All you have to do is hold down the menu button on the remote control for more than 5 seconds, If that doesnt work hold down the power button on the remote control for more than 5 seconds. If that doesnt work hold down the power button on the actual vcr unit for 15 seconds. The first method should work for Panasonic's fine.
This will then display your current rf output.
You can then change the output by using the up and down arrows or the channel up and down button on your remote or the vcr unit.
Press menu button to save or the same button you used to bring up the rf opposition eg power button on remote or the unit.

all the best. Top tech
