SOURCE: Unable to operate remote of Pandigital picture frame

remove the memory card and see if the remote works wit hthe built in memory pics. if it doesnt pic up your card you will just have to try another card. The frames dont read cards larger than 1 Gb very well either - reguardless of how many pics are on the card.

SOURCE: I can't transfer pictures from

You can start copying pictures to SV811 digital picture frame if you get the message “Use PC interface to copy files.” Here are the steps:

Copy pictures, videos, and music between your frame and computer, using your computer's normal file copying tools:

1. Connect the USB cable from the frame to your computer
2. On your computer, open My Computer or Windows Explorer.

The picture frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices.

3. Navigate to the pictures you want to copy. Then drag and drop them to the new location.
4. Unplug the USB cable to view your copied pictures.

Copying pictures from EasyShare software:

1. Install EasyShare software (free download at www.kodak.com/go/sw )
2. Connect the USB cable.
3. On your computer, open EasyShare software. Select the pictures in My Collection and drag them into the Picture tray.
4. In the menu bar, select File and then Copy to the Kodak Drive letter.

The picture frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices.

5. Select the frame source to which you are copying.
6. Select Best for Digital Picture Frame to reduce the resolution of the pictures you are copying. Full resolution is unnecessary and quickly fills up the frame's memory.
7. Click Copy. Pictures are copied to your frame.
8. Unplug the USB cable and press “Home” icon to navigate to your copied pictures.

Most digital frames come with a USB cable to hook the frame directly up to a computer. When you plug in the frame, a drive should show up in your "My Computer" section (for Windows) or on your desktop (for Mac). In most cases, you just need to drag and drop the photos onto the drive.

Uploading photos

Both the thumb drive and the picture frame are USB slave devices, not USB masters. They both need to be connected to a USB master in order to transfer files.

Do you have a standard USB cable from some other device, any other device? If so, that should fit into the picture frame. If not, you'll have to buy one.

Connect the thumb drive to your computer. Create a folder on the computer and copy your photos to that folder. Then connect the picture frame to the computer and copy the photos from the folder to the frame.

If you have two or more USB ports, you can skip the folder and just copy photos from the thumb drive directly to the frame.

How do I get the pictures from my mac computer into the frame? I have no instructions

The question as posted with the title is a little vague.
I'll work on the basis that you have a digital picture frame and you want to get the pictures from your Mac on to it.
First examine the picture frame for any obvious connectors or card slots. Once you have determined what connectors or slots are available then find a means of connecting to that connector or slot - it could be a simple as a USB lead, using a pen drive or using a camera card. If it is a USB lead then I would expect the frame to appear on your mac like an external drive when you plug it in. Then drag your chosen pictures from iPhoto onto the frame's icon./ If it's a pen drive use the same method but substitute the pen drive for the cable & frame, similarly if it's a card slot - although you'll have to identify which type of card it is.
Finally, if you cannot find any connectors other than a power connector, then it could well be a bluetooth job and you will have to use the bluetooth on your mac to do it. Use the Mac's help menu to show you haw to connect to a bluetooth device.

Kodak easy share SV 811

I had the same problem. I use kodak easyshare software and load my pics on to that. Then put all the pics you want in the picture tray. Have your frame plugged into the computer with your usb cord. Then go up to File menu and drop down to "copy to". On my computer it is Folder "E" which is the drive the frame is connected to. Then pick from the Resize drop down menu " best for picture frame', then click copy. You will see the program loading all the pics to E drive. When done, unplug usb cord and you will see it loading on your pic frame. As easy as this is to do, I found it frustrating as well, but when it works, it is easy. Hope this helps
