SOURCE: Finding My List and viewing movies like my queue

First you would need to state whether you are on a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone?

Add Make, Model, Operating System?

Then you need to tell us what 'My list' is relating to? Netflix, Printer, Incoming Email, Bank Statement?

You post to the category 'Printers and Copiers', the Experts will naturally think you are looking for the Print Queue on a computer.

You see the problem we are having answering your question? We know YOU know EXACTLY what you mean, but you are not conveying it to those reading.

One well crafted question to the correct category and someone will provide your answer.

Peace

I'm trying to add movies to my queue. i can't find the add button!!!! can you helo?!! ...

The reason you are having trouble adding movies to your instant queue is because a limited amount of movies can be viewed through instant queue. The new really popular titles generally aren't on there. In fact the majority of movies you want to watch are most likely not on there. You can look at this list to see the most popular movies that are available to be watch on instant queue.

I hope this helped!

Key is flashing. Internet blue light is on. Printer gets signal for print job but won't print until I USB connect it to my Macbook OS 10.6.

Hi,

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue

The print queue and Dock printer icon
When you start a print job, you will see your printer icon appear in your Dock. Click the Printer icon to open the print queue, which is a list of print jobs that are printing, on hold, or paused. The print queue will also display messages sent from the printer.
You can alternatively open the print queue from the Print & Fax pane of System Preferences.

printer%20queue.png In the Print Queue toolbar you have these buttons:

  1. Delete - Deletes the selected print job.
  2. Hold / Resume - Will hold / resume the selected print job.
  3. Job Info - Shows details of the selected print job, such as job name, status, Completed, Job Message, and so forth.
  4. Pause / Resume Printer - To Pause / Resume the Print Queue.
  5. Supply Levels - Will drop down the Supply Levels sheet showing you the levels of ink / toner your printer has.
  6. Printer Setup - Lets you configure the printer's name and location details.
  7. Printer - Sets the Print Queue window into Printer mode.
  8. Scanner - Visible if you have a multi-function printer connected via USB. Click it to set the Print Queue into Scanner mode.
You can see what your print job looks like with Quick Look. Click the arrow on the print job just to the left of the Status column or select the print job and press the Spacebar.
From the Print Queue menu bar, the "Printer" menu has these additional options:
  1. Customize Toolbar... - Used to add and remove item from the Print Queue's toolbar.
  2. Make Default - Will set the printer pertaining to this Print Queue your default printer.
  3. Print Test Page - Will send the CUPS Printer Test Page to your printer.
  4. Network Diagnostics - Will bring up the Network Diagnostics application, used to check each layer of your network connection.
  5. Log & History - Used to open the Console application and show you the log entries for your current and past print jobs.
  6. Show Printer List - Will open the Print & Fax System Preference showing you the list of Print Queues.
From the Print Queue menu bar, the "Jobs" menu has these additional options:
  1. Show / Hide Completed Jobs - Will alternate Show / Hide in the Print Queue all completed printer jobs and completed functions, like checking the supply levels of your printer.
  2. Show Everyone's / My jobs - Will alternate showing Everyone's / My print jobs.
You can control-click (or right-click) your printer icon in the Dock for this convenient menu:

When I try to print from my PC the printer doesn't respond at all even though the cable is connected on both ends and the printer is turned on. Worked fine the day before.

I assume you are using a PC- All printers have a list of pending jobs refered to as the print "queue"- it should open if you double click on the default ptinter icon in the printer list- it sounds to me like your print Queue has been paused somehow and all the print jobs are being "held" until you tell the queue to restart printing

Sir,adding playlist into mediaplayer in vb.net2003

Hi, Some expert will solve this issue soon. Since I m pretty busy I can give you a tip:
Either you could use a temp file or a queue. 1. Creating the play list. 2. Adding / Removing. 3. Saving/ Loading. 3 steps.
You can just use a queue to load items. It has to be expanded in a situation which is the queue is full. You have to work on that. Use a separate thread for the playlist. You may use a queue or a temp file to store the locations temporarily (with specified rows or / and pointers). File operation is slower than a queue. Adding removing items: You can use a file handle to let the user Browse for folder and select one or multiple items. Then store it in the queue or tmp file. If you want to allow drag and drop Check this tutorial and get an idea since its a bit too long process to explain. http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/topic/132491-drag-and-drop-files/
So when you have finished that you have to keep pointers to each file. Use it further to play the file. (To access the file).
Removing files: Remove the pointer and delete the entry in tmp file or update the queued data (or you can ignore that but queue may overflow if it doesn't managed well) To do so you can use another thread but it must not override the playing process. Its very good to have two queues however and that will increase the performance. One for playlist and one for pointers of available items in the play list.
Save and Load: Saving can be done using a file operation easily. When loading the file check for the play list extension. Its better if you could examine other play lists as well (for other players such as Windows media player, KM Player, Real Player etc.) You can have an idea. How ever its very important that to maintain the compatibility with other play lists. If your player can load other formats and if other players could load your format then its optimized.
When you load it use the queue or tmp file. Temp file has to be a text file or similar. Have fun! Reg. Lasitha

I have a Mac w/Snow Leopard. I cannot get to hp.com\support to download drivers for an Office Jet 7780. The Mac recognizes it as a printer but not as a scanner.

As from this link , the drivers for most HP printers are already built-in to Snow Leopard. Thus, they didn't recommend reinstalling driver from your HP printer CD. Here are some excerpts regarding scanning feature on Snow Leopard from the link: Scanning: The Scanning interface is now built into Snow Leopard and supported with the Apple Image Capture application. Instructions follow. NOTE: HP Scan Pro software (from Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5) is not supported in Snow Leopard. The HP icon for HP Device Manager still in the dock after upgrade is not functional and should be removed. NOTE: Scan support from pushing the Scan button on the printer is not supported with this version of the scan interface built into Snow Leopard. Scan functionality is supported by scanning directly from the computer.
** there are methods on how you can scan on Snow Leopard from the link that I've given above. But I'll paste here Method 3:

Method three: Scan from Print & Fax > Printer browser
  1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences .
  2. Click Print & Fax .
  3. In the list of printers on the left side of the dialog, select the HP All-in-One to view the options in the Print & Fax window.
  4. Click the Scan tab, and then click Open Scanner . The Printer Browser window appears.
  5. Click the Scan icon at top right of the toolbar to launch scanning. The scan interface opens. Click Show Details to view settings and options.
Important Gotcha: If the Scan or Print icons do not appear in the Printer Browser window toolbar, you need to delete the current HP printer queue and add a new one, as follows:
  1. Close the Printer Browser window to return to the Print & Fax preference pane. Or, go directly to the System Preferences > Print & Fax pane.
  2. Select your HP printer in the list on the left.
  3. Click the - sign at the bottom of the list to delete the product from the list.
  4. Click the + sign at the bottom of the list to add the product back to the list.
  5. Select your HP printer, and then click Add to create a new print queue. The next time you open thePrinter Browser window, the Print and Scan icons should appear in the toolbar, providing access to Image Capture.

My 5 in 1 printer is saying no cartridge when I just replaced it and when I do get it to print it's not printing that good at all kind of gray like it's out of ink, it has a new cartridge

  • Click open START then CONTROL PANEL then PRINTERS AND FAXES
  • If asked, click the link that says view or modify existing printers
  • You should get to a window that shows a list of printers that are installed on your computer
  • Look for the printer icon with a tiny little checkmark in a black circle to the upper right (see image below). This is your default printer, that is, it's the one that prints if you don't manually select a specific printer. defprint.jpg
Note how the checkmark indicates that the Brother HL-2040 Series is my default printer
  • In most cases, this is the printer you are having trouble with, but the following procedure can be applied to any printer on your system.
  • Double click open your default printer to view the print queue printqueue.jpg
Note that there are two documents waiting to print in my print queue
  • If the print queue is empty, skip the next step
  • Click and pull down the PRINTER menu from the top of the print queue and select CANCEL ALL DOCUMENTS. This will delete anything that's stuck in the queue cancelall.jpg
After clicking CANCEL ALL DOCUMENTS, it may take a minute or two for the queue to completely clear
  • Click and pull down the PRINTER menu from the top of the print queue. If there is a line item that says USE PRINTER OFFLINE and there is a checkmark to the left of it, click it once, otherwise, click CLOSE.
  • Now go to the printer and power it off, wait a few seconds and power it back on.
If these steps haven't solved your printing problem, then you probably need help

Access database was copied now no tables in dropdown list

Your version of Access may require slightly different menus and clicks than mine, but the procedure is straightforward and should be very similar to what you will need to do. Read the whole post first!

Make sure you have permission to modify the database, then go to the form (I assume the drop-down table is in a form) and go to design view.

In design view, click once on the dropdown box you are having a problem with, and a properties screen with several tabs should pop up; click on the data tab, and look at 'data source'. In the list look for 'row source type' to see if the source of your data is a) a table or a query, b) a value list or c) a field list. Most dropdown boxes use either a value list or data from another table or a query (based on a table).

Check the source of data by going down to the next line in the list titled 'Row Source' (this is the list on the data tab that popped up when you clicked on the dropdown box in design view).

If the source is a table/query type you should see some code in the Row Source box like "SELECT....". Without changing anything, click once immediately to the right of the box, and whatever source the rows are coming from should pop up--if a query, for instance, it will pop up the underlying query in design view.

You should be able to troubleshoot the underlying query to see why no data is given in the dropdown box.

Another point where underlying query or table is used: If the table was based on a query that pulls data from the records in the current database, the drop down list will be blank until new records are added so the query has something to list.

And if the source is a 'value list', the values should be included in the row source box below, separated by semicolons. If not you simply need to add them in.

If your source is a field list, go back to whomever copied the database and tell them you need help with the copy they gave you...
