my name is Dennis Gladx and I can assist you with the problem of getting the sprocket off of the crankshaft of your chainsaw.
To remove the centrifugal clutch and sprocket you unscrew it from the crankshaft and it has a left hand thread. Also a little trick to remove anything from a crankshaft that could turn while you want to unscrew the item, Remove the spark plug and insert some rope into the cylinder for the piston to squeeze against and you will jam the piston without damage.
Glad to be of assistance Please rate this solution because I can learn from your rating. Thank you

there is a special tool to remove the clutch properly with out damage to the clutch or springs.it is so much easier to take it in some where and have the proper tool used.the tool is $45.00 to $65.00 to buy one.most dealer will only charge you a couple of bucks to remove it and install one for you,it only take a second to do.I,myself have made a couple of differant ones because chainsaw differ so much.let me know and maybe i can get you a picture of the one you need

I think its an outboard clutch, use this as a guide. A YouTube video shows the procedure using a Husqvarna 350 here:
1. I cannot find an IPL for your saw, it may require special tools.
2. A length of starter cord or nylon rope may be used instead of the piston stop (retain 6" ± so you can remove it). Make sure the piston is near the top of the cylinder before feeding the cord or it can fall through the exhaust port and be cut when the piston rises.
3. It is probably a left handed thread (tighten it to loosen it).
Let us know how it worked for you. GL
