I have a Bosch WFL 1200 front load washing machine. I need to replace the brushes on the motor. This model only has an "oval" shaped panel at the back. The side and back panels are all one piece and c

ALWAYS disconnect electrics....You need to access the motor from the bottom of machine.as it is a pig to work on if you try to replace the bushes whilst in situ...what I do is empty the machines residual water from drain tube bottom front then remove back.... undo belt .... Then lean the machine at 45degrees to one side and undo the two retaining bolts on the pulley side .the whole motor will slide toward rear of machine but uncouple the electrics block first then remove motor.the brushes are spring loaded and the brass clip slides one way to release?there are plenty of YouTube tutorials on bosch washing machines that show brush replacement.good luck.

Washing machine will not spin

its probly either ur bushes on the motor that have gone and need replacing or the programer has gone. if it was my washing machine i would change the bushes first as it dont cost that much to replace them.

Washer stopped working with low humming noise

Belt may have broken or come off, or idler seized or main support bearing siezed or even motor bushings may have seized. Best access is from above to check.

If you can spin the drum with ease from the inside, the belt broke or is off. If it will not turn, the motor bushings may have siezed, or the main bearing siezed.

How do I open the door to my Bush a126q washing machine after a quick wash?

Reset it back to the spin cycle and try to empty some more water out of it. It should release the door when it knows it is empty.

Shaking washing machine

Hiya,
Uneven spinning is the most common cause of jumping machines both over filling & under filling can have a simular affect but it could be something like the bushes or bearingsthese parts are designed to take all the punishment from washing & are expected to go at some point i would 1st check the load volumes you are trying to wash maybe by either reducing a load or increasing it to see if this makes a diferance in anyway if there is no differancethen i would surgest the next portacall would be the bushes or bearings..

Hope This Helps

Washer squeeks when drum rotates during wash cycle

The 2 bushings that mount the motor to the body of the washing machine are causing this.

You can get just the updated bushings, or a kit of 2 updated bushings and a replacement belt which is probably a good idea to replace as long as you are in there.

Remove the back cover and inspect the job. It's self explainatory and took me less than 30 minutes to complete.....and it worked on the noise :)

1, your pump may be blocked by fluff coins and other debris.
2. more likely bushes worn on the main motor not giving enough umphhh (loverly word) to go through a complete spin....Bushes easily replacable. Job start to finish with parts on hand a machine mechanic 10-15mins top Diy er like me an hour allways have trouble finding the right spanner... Good luck.
