Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I factory reset my HTC phone from boost and it's asking for the Gmail account that the phone was previous set up with. What if I don't know it and how do I get passed it

create a different gmail account as it is used for the android play store app to down load apps to your phone. Unless you were using gmail for email on the phone it does not matter as long as play store has a gmail email account. just go to www.gmail.com and create a gmail account and use it for this htc phone only.

I cannot receive google text recovery passcode on my phone number which was ported from magic jack, I have done all the tech support on my phones end, reinstalled, got new sim card, even got a new phone...

Try using the account recovery questionnaire that you have already found. So try hard to remember as much information as you can, fill it in correctly, and submit the form again.

What Brand and Type of phone ??..
Phone password or google account password ??..
Im thinking iphone ?
Although a passcode limits your iPhone to authorized use only, protecting your vital personal information, if you forget it, you can't use your phone until you enter the correct code or revert your phone to the default factory status.
Apple provides ways to resolve a forgotten passcode problem and improve the iPhone's security.

Wrong Passcode

When you enable iPhone passcode security, the phone requires you to enter the code to display the home screen.
By default, when this protection feature is enabled, you'll be prompted to enter the passcode to turn on or restart the iPhone, wake it or unlock the screen.
When you enter the wrong passcode, the "Wrong Passcode try again" message appears onscreen.
If you enter the incorrect code too many times, the iPhone will lock automatically and display the "iPhone is disabled, try again in 1 minute" message.
This disabling security feature is designed to protect it from unauthorized tampering.
If you keep entering the incorrect code, the iPhone will be disabled for a longer time.

Restoring iPhone
If you don't remember your passcode, unfortunately, there is no way to retrieve it.
Apple says that the only way to solve passcode problems is to restore the iPhone with iTunes.
Before restoring the phone, downloading and installing the latest version of iTunes will improve connection and decrease the chances of errors.
Unfortunately, restoring the iPhone erases saved content and clears custom settings, so create a backup copy of your files with iTunes before proceeding.
From there, you can restore your iPhone by clicking the "Restore" button on the device's "Summary" tab in iTunes.
When the process completes, you can change the passcode settings.

Changing Passcode Settings
iPhone allows you to not only create a new passcode, but specify the amount of time it should take before the screen locks after inactivity.
You can also specify whether you want to use a simple four-digit passcode or a longer one that can include letters and numbers.
Tapping the "Settings" icon on the home screen will bring up the phone's settings.
From there, tapping "General" and then tapping "Passcode Lock" will bring up the "Passcode Lock" customization screen.
Select the settings you want to use to protect your iPhone. The changes will take effect immediately or when the iPhone turns off.

Tips

After restoring your iPhone, create a passcode you'll remember easily.
While creating a longer passcode can increase the security on your phone, you can forget it easily if you don't write it down and store it in a safe place.
gmail password reset
Open the Web browser on your phone and navigate to gmail.com.
Tap "Can't access your account" located under the "Sign in" button.
Select "I forgot my password" and then click "Reset your password here."
Type your email into the "Email" text box and then type the random captcha into the captcha text box.
An email with your new Gmail password will be sent to your alternate Gmail address.
Follow the directions in the email to reset your password.
Type the new Gmail password into the loin screen on your Droid to unlock the account.

Need help importing contacts from my HTC droid into my gmail account & then syncing onto my Macbook Pro

Once the contacts are in your Gmail account, you should be able to access them from the internet on your Macbook Pro. Is there a certain program on your Macbook that you're using to access your Gmail? If your HTC Droid is set up to access your Gmail and is the main account on the phone, then contacts should be synced already and accessible from Gmail online.

My daughter's phone locked up stating that she had too many patterns. It's asking for a username and password that we don't know. What should we do? She has a htc inspire 4g.

This requirement needs a Google or Gmail account, it also required a sufficient account balance on your phone, and lastly you need to set your mobile network settings to 2g to be able to access internet connection and log In on the account.
