Question about Washing Machines
Your motor is good that why you had agitation.
If you try to set to run by spinning only and it's still not working then the problem is not at your timer, but it is at the spinning mechanism.
Your motor is designed to turn both directions. One is for agitation, the other is for spinning. In order to spin, the mechanism has to work properly to engage with the tube to turn. The mechanism involves the clutch, the brake and the pulley. One of these fails to function as designed, the tube is not spin. In order to find what exactly wrong, the front panel needs to be opened to inspect. Now you can not manually turn the tube from inside since the brakes are engaged by default. If you are handy, inspect it to see if you can tackle the diagnose to change the parts. Let me know if you need help.
