SOURCE: I had bought an ipad

I was very happy when I got my hands on the new iPad. I didn't notice this at first, but when I took the tablet into my backyard, and my iPhone was able to pick up my router signal without a hassle; the iPad didn't pick up the network at all. This became a nightmare for me. A friend suggested trying the "Forget This Network" reset method, which used to work on the older models, but this didn't improve the wifi range at all. Right when I lost all hope, I came across WIRED magazine and found a review of Pong Research cases, After seeing the great feedback on their products, I bought one and it finally solve the new iPad 3 wifi issues . The back cover has a built-in antenna in between its layers, which redirects and boosts the signals and range, allowing me to getting connected from much further away.

Want to download ios 5.0

The current iOS is 8.1. If you want to update your iPad,
 • make sure you have iTunes on your current computer;
 • connect your iPad via the USB cable included with the iPad;
 • select your iPad in the iTunes menus;
 • click the "Check for Update" button in the Summary screen.
iTunes will display a message that will either allow you to update your iPad, or let you know that your current version is updated. For First Gen iPads, the latest iOS is 5.1.1.

Need to download iOS 8.0.1 on my apple ipad keeps telling me it failed because I am not o internet, but I know that I am connected to the iternet what is wrong?

if you have laptop/desktop computer you can sync the iPad with iTunes and download iOS 8.1.2 there:
Upgrading iPad to iOS 8: Through iTunes 1. Backup your iPad
Open iTunes. Select your iPad in iTunes and click Back Up Now.
2. Restart your iPad and your Computer
3. Download and Install the Update
Go to iTunes -> Select iPad -> Check for Update -> Click Download and Update
itunes-ios7b.png
Whichever method you choose, the process will take quite some time to work depending on how much free storage you have on your iPad, your internet connection, and how Apple's servers are doing with upgrades. Occasionally, Apple will either not let you download the upgrade or it will fail. For iOS 8, you must have an iPad 3 or newer. This does not work with the original iPad - if something goes wrong, restart your device, and try again.

How do Download iOS 6 to my iPad

depends on the iPad model you have:
For the iPad first generation (A1219) before iOS 5 to update is only possible with connecting the device to iTunes on a computer. Plug it into your computer and open up itunes under devices click on your ipad and then click on check for update.
- but this model supports only iOS 5 !
- NO iOS 6/7/8 !
for all other models:
There are two ways to update the iOS version of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch - via connecting the device to iTunes on a computer
- or directly from within the device, but only since iOS 5 it is possible to update the iOS version without the need to connect the iOS device to a computer (over-the-air update)
just go to: settings - general - software update

Need to update my ipad 2 to iOS 7.1

There are two ways to upgrade the iOS of your iPad
- via connecting the device to iTunes on a computer
- or directly from within the device
so in your case you can try connecting the iPad to a computer with iTunes installed
procedure:

 • Connect your iOS device to your computer using an USB cable. Wait for iTunes to open and connect to your device.
 • Click on device button to the left of the iTunes Store button in the top right corner in iTunes.
 • Hold down on the option key (Mac) or the shift key (Windows) and click the "Check for Update" button in the Summary pane. Browse to the .ipsw file you downloaded and select it.
 • Do not disconnect your device until the update has finished.
 • If necessary, restore your device from the previous backup and sync with iTunes.
