My dishwasher does not fill with water

Turn off the tap.
Pull it out and disconnect the hose from the back of the dishwasher.
Put the machine end of the hose in a bucket, and turn the tap on.
If water gets through the hose, then there may be a faulty circuit board or inlet solenoid. I would be inclined to either get someone else, or take a guess on the solenoid first as it is the cheaper part.
Of course check that the hose is not getting kinked behind the dishwasher.
If no water gets through the hose when not attached to the dishwasher, it may have a faulty water block (anti flood device, usually at the tap end), Replace the hose and you will be all good.
Hope this helps

My dishwasher was in a cycle and it tripped the power to the house. We have nailed down the problem to infact being the dishwasher. Is there a way to get rid of the water inside so I can open it because...

The best way to do this is to open up the door and remove the filter cage and any other associated filter parts, then put a garden hose into the filter compartment (Which is the lowest point in the machine) and syphon the water outside. This will get rid of 95% of the water. You might want to throw a couple of buckets of clean water into the machine when it gets close to being emptied, so the clean water flushes the diorty water out and you don't get it smelling after a day or two.

Tricks for syphoning:

Start with a garden hose FULL of clean water by putting the end of the garden hose into the machine and turning the hose on. Now the hose is primed, simply disconnect the other end from the tap and get it lower than the dishwasher and the water will syphon away without any of that silly sucking on the hose and risking a mouthful of dirty water.

Additionally, if you're having a problem finding somewhere lower than the dishwasher, take the end taht was on the tap outside and lift a drain cover, drop the end of the hose down into the drain, this will be lower than the washer and the syphon will start.

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher that is not workin...

Remove the drain end. Keep it above little . Check whether the water is retained inside the washing machine. If water is retained- check your drain valve in the machine. it is parmenantly open or having improper closure.

Unit runs but no water flows

Check whether water is flowing the flexible hose. Check the strainer attached to the hose at the machine end.

However try pouring water straight into the wash chamber and start the machine. If it works, it is the incoming water problem

Son put normal dish washing liquid in top draw!

ok, the machine flooded and the water has leaked into the bottom of the machine, 1st turn off the machine at the power point. 2nd- open the top drawer and remove the suds from it. 3rd. open the bottom drawer and look under it to the bottom of the cabinet . that is where the water will be. use a torch if you have to. now you need to dry the water up. you can do this with a hair dryer or a fan heater. the reason the machine is flashing F1 is because the water has triggered the flood switch and you need to dry up that water. please reply 4 more help.once dryed F1 will disappear. please make sure all the suds are removed from the top drawer. good luck

My dishwasher AEG FAVORIT keeps beebing and not working it flashes with a arrow and stright line? it stoppted half way through

The arrow straight line meens end of program. However the flashing lights do indicate an error codeas per the handbook. This could be the ati flood device (polystireen float / micro switch) at the bottom of the machiene indicating a water leak. This device puts the washer in pump out mode and nothing els works until the error has been rectified.

Water does not drain from machine at end of cycle

it sounds like the out flow is blocked some where on the front of your machine normally down the bottom there is a door open it behind should be a tap/plug type of thing turn it but put something underneath to catch the water this takes time when done take the plug out all the way have a look at the fan behind it will probably be blocked

Dishwasher not starting when door closes

What your saying is suggesting a water supply issue. The Model number you've given can not be found on the Neff website.

You will need to disconnect power, turn the water supply off (under sink or behind dishwasher), disconnect the water line, put the end of the hose in a bucket or cup, turn water back on slowly and make sure water flows. Turn back off. If water flows -

Then check that there is not a restriction in the water solenoid valve. If you know how to use a multimeter, check the water valve solenoid for continuity.

Plug the unit back in, and initiate a wash cycle, and watch for voltage applied to the water solenoid valve. If you get voltage, you should hear the valve open.
Power the unit off, connect the water line, and repower the unit. Check again if water does or doesnt flow.

Let me know what you find.
