I'm guessing you are talking about eBay. So sign in to your acct on eBay and either go to ur messages or the resolution center. U can accept offer from there. Good luck

I'm not a lawyer or an expert in legal matters; I only want to give you a third party opinion. I have no doubt in your honesty and I'm sure you meant well from the beginning, but you left yourself vulnerable to this kind of problem by shipping an item with a defect, no matter how little it was. You have no way of knowing if the client is lying or taking advantage of a bad situation.
As hard as this may seem, cut your losses, refund the cost and pay for return shipping. I hope things work out for you and don't let that kind of drawback discourage you.

Seller not shipping item after payment


If you don't receive an item you paid for, you can receive a refund of the full purchase price plus original shipping on eligible purchases through the eBay resolution process.


Prior to that contact the seller and try to make conversation and solve the issue as these things may occur when selling online. But of coarse, if you cannot work things out you have the option of opening a case by going to the resolution center. Then a few questions will be asked from you and the seller will be contacted. If the seller doesn't make things right, eBay will review the case. If you didn't receive an item you paid for, you'll usually receive a full refund plus original shipping costs.

To request a refund, send the seller an email. Ask the seller to go to the Transaction Details page for your transaction and click Issue a refund.

You can escalate your problem to paypal and file a refund appeal. If you can provide with proof that you have received an item which is not working and is different from what was describe then you will get your refund after the process.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Log in to your paypal account.
2. Go to "Resolution Center".

4. Supply it with the information and evidences. You will then receive an email from paypal regarding your dispute.
