Sorry this reply late but might be of use for others. The water level is controlled by an electrical valve operated by a pressure switch. If filling happens even when not plugged in then just change valve. If only when on then you need to check the rubber hose from air chamber (upside-down egg cup mounted inside wash tank) make sure it is pushed on and not split, if ok then adjust or replace level control pressure switch (wind out centre plastic screw a little at a time, then automatically fill / drain the machine untill level correct. Hope this helps, ensure you turn off electrics b4 touching

F&P washing machine:GW709 doesn't cut out when filling

could b pressure switch tube is blocked or your control board with the pressure switch attached is faulty. empty water from machine, remove pressure switch hose from control board, blow thru tube to remove any blockages, refit tube. turn on cycle, select low water level, push start, after about 30sec"s push start again, that should stop it filling straight away. if the water stops push start again to continue filling. if it doesnt stop filling after restarting the cycle then it is your control module.if the water doesnt stop filling after the 30 sec stop it is the water valves. by the way what country do u live in because $120 seems to b alittle too expensive. please reply 4 more help.

replace the micro switch and your problem is solved. Its a very small switch right next to your door switch and fuse.It has 3 wires and must be replaced to fix this problem.

Ice maker does not make ice and the in-door water is not working properly - it keeps running.

the water in the door problem after you fill up your cup with water it keeps running all over the floor.. it sounds like its a stuck contact on a micro switch inside the door compartment. that lever you are pushing your glass onto is atached to a little switch and if the contacts stay closed (like when a glass is pushing on it) the machine thinks "hey he still wants water". next time it does that try pushing on the spot you put the glass onto a couple of time to see if it stops the water. if so it most likely is the switch. to confirm that is the case you will have to open the plastic moulding from the fridge door to gain access to the switch.( always unplug any electricall device before openning to ensure your hair doesnt end up standing striaght up like a punk rocker) you will know which switch is the one you want to check by depressing the water lever on the front. Ohm check the switch for continuity to see if it gives you proper readings or it is in fact a bunk switch. it also could be a mechanical problem as the lever once unpressed is not opening the switch back up once the glass is removed but that is not as likely unless you are ramming the glass into the water dispensor
hope it helps
