We have to defrost. What setting do we use? It has a snowflake at the "high"end of the numbers.

I believe that's means a/c mode is on and the flame is for heat. If the heat pump is not defrosting normally in heat mode u may have a problem with the defrost sensor ( located on the outside unit condenser coil) or a defrost board. Replace both

My air conditioning system comes on automatic why does ir do that

It may be normal, depending upon what you are doing with the car's ventilation system. Most newer vehicles will use the A/C when the ventilation controls are set to the DEFROST position in an attempt to avoid the fogging that can occur in side the glass when defroster is first turned on. Check the switch setting that you have the ventilation system set at. If there is a snowflake symbol there, it indicates that the A/C unit will activate when in that position. If the A/C is turning on by itself at other times, it may be a malfunction in the system.

Flashing snowflake

The flashing snowflake means it is in the cooling mode, but is waiting for itself to 'time out' after a call for cooling. It should be about a 5 minute delay then should come on automatically. At that poing, the flashing snowflake becomes steady.

Try it one more time and set the timer on your smart-phone to ten minutes before you touch it again. If that time elapses and no cooling and it is still flashing there's possibly a problem in the thermostat that will necissitate replacement.

Machine in cold shed. Supply pipes no longer frozen, but machine still displays F37 error and beeps and no water getting in. Have tried presssing temp button twice but no good.

F37 is because of operating the unit below specified temperatures.

Pressing the temperature button twice shows a snowflake and sets a defrost function.

When i turn it on it bleeps and f 37 comes on

u have a fault the operation of the washer.

The machine has a defrost function, pressing the temperature button twice will start this and show a snowflake in the top right hand corner Press the temperature button twice, ( A snowflake will appear in the top left corner) this acts as a defrost button. F37 will probably occur more often if your machine is stored in a outhouse. or try thawing out the water pipe.

Help

We need to check the defrost time inside the fresh food compartment. When you locate the timer you need to slowly turn clockwise until refrigerator goes into defrost. Leave it there for about 20 minutes. 1 minute after you turn timer open freezer door if the defrost is working now you will hear a crackling sound or slight glow caused by manual defrost. Do these things and the let me know. Let me know what you find, Thanks, Sea Breeze seabreezehvac@yahoo.com
