The light will keep flashing unless you are on the correct channel A B or C and you hit the "Light" button on the front of the unit.
As far as the high speed take offs I suggest identifying which A B or C setting is correct for your copter. In order to do this turn off the RC controller. Set the Selector switch to "A" move the left joystick "throttle" half way up and then turn on the power. Assuming that the copter is still ON it will either fire up or do nothing. If it does nothing try the same sequence with the selector switch set to "B" and try again. If nothing try "C".
Now, as far as the rapid accelleration, I read one online comment that indicated that there is some type of "programming" sequence that the unit learns by pushing the left joystick throttle all the way forward and then back to zero when you start to fly it. So after the first "blast off" set the copter back down or even hold it in you hand by grasping the the landing runners and move the throttle forward until the rotor spin up and it lifts off. In your hand it is easier to keep it from going up too quickly.

Hello Allen, welcome to FixYa.
I understand by reading your post which indicates it is a Kenmore 665.13762K602 dishwasher you appear to have a concern with, specifically the wash motor "humming". I've tried on many occasion to get these things started by turning them and trying to break them loose to no avail.
I would say you are indeed on the right track...the motor is the culprit unfortunately. You can opt to replacing just the motor as you said for around $100 or the entire assembly shown here for around $150-$175, it's your call.
I've attached what I think is a pretty helpful tutorial video clip. I can also offer any guidance if questions arise.
I'll watch for your reply and try and help going forward. Good luck and thank you for choosing FixYa and please keep me posted.
