I have a 3 pound bone in pork roast. I want to cook it for 4 hours st 200degF ... how long would I then cook it for if I move the temperature up to 350?

Pressure cook the pork for 50-60 minutes at high pressure and use natural pressure release.

I hope you have a meat thermometer.

I suggest you roast the pork at 250 degrees Fahrenheit, so the cooking time will take longer. When you return home, pull the roast out of the oven and insert your meat thermometer. The internal temperature of the meat needs to be between 140-145 degrees F. If it is not, put the pork roast back in the oven and turn the heat up to 350 degrees F. Check the internal meat temperature every 15 min.

You CAN set the cooking temperature even lower to allow for an even longer cooking time. But NEVER set it lower than 200 degrees F.

Note: Be sure to turn your oven off when no longer needed. Plus, allow the meat to rest 10-15 min. before carving.

Pork should be cooked using the formula;
25mins per pound plus 20mins for medium
35mins per pound plus 20mins for well done.

This cut is long and narrow so cooking it for so many minutes per pound won't work. The best way is to use a probe thermometer. If the skin is on it, score it and pour a full kettle of boiling water over the skin. Pat dry and season it. The skin will come nice and crisp.

10-12# Boston B @ 300-325 degrees = 4hrs +/- Its all about temperature. Wrap @ 165* internal temp in heavy foil & cook to an internal temp of 195-200*.. remove from oven and let it rest for 30 minutes.. You are done.

What temperature to roast a boneless pork loin? No recipe in booklet


Hi there.
Most recipies suggest 350 degrees for a pork loiin, approx 25-30 mins per pound. Once you are near the end of the cooking time check the center of the roast with a meat thermometer. It should read 170-180 degrees to make sure it's thoughly cooked.
And don't forget to let it rest, covered for about 15 mins before slicing so the juices re-distribute.
