Place heating element on dometic 2652 . The 2 heater leads j7 and j8 need plugged back in. Does it matter which goes where? they are both black wires

heating elements are simply resistance wires and allow current flow in either direction
so there is noconsideration for polarity
either way will be correct

Why is the gfci tripping on my hot tub after being on for 30 min. After resetting the breaker after the 30 min. run, it trips immediately!!!

Hi,
You will want to make sure that all of your spa equipment is functioning properly. It is best for a spa technician or electrician to determine this issue.
It is likely that a particular piece of equipment is turning on around the 30 min time frame and causing the breaker to trip. Pump, ozonator or similar. Also check the heater element, a pin sized hole in the element will cause it to fail. Lastly your spas breaker itself could be bad.
Good luck!

New fridge in RV

It will be either the compressor or the element. I suspect the compressor firstly. Pull plug out then pull the 3 wires off the compressor terminals then switch back on. Make sure wires are seperated and not touching anything. If no trip off after 10 min, you know it is the compressor. If not, then replace the wires and remove the heater wires from the element. Switch on and see if power trips off or not. If not, then it is the element. Replace.

Dometic RM2652 RV Refrigerator trips GFCI

Hi!!

Right beside the circuit panel, there is a grill, remove the 4 screws to gain access to the transformer/battery charger. You'll see a double power outlet, one cord is from fridge, the other is from the transformer. UNPLUG Transformer cord and reset breaker.

It will take a couple of minutes for the fridge to change to AC if you have it in AUTO. If everything works fine, REPAIR OR REPLACE TRANSFORMER/BATTERY CHARGER.

Don't forget to rate this answer, Good Luck!!!

My 3-way Dometic fridge works on gas but stopped working on 240V! ....Why?

With the 240V element diconnected, test it with an ohm meter to find it was open circuit. No heat! The 12v element still had resistance.
At the moment gas is still keeping my cool while I wait for a new element to arrive. ..... cheers
