try a another new battery sometimes they are no good if they where on the store shelf for to long of course the store wont tell you this. if this dosent work replace the unit its better to be safe than sorry

temperature affects batteries. if the batteries on the window sensors have been in use for some time it is probably time to change them. Alarm batteries are only expected to last 3 to 5 years with moderate use. If you have close neighbors or live in an apartment complex then false reads could be a factor.

To fix the issue you need to remove the batterys from both the bell push and the bell unit for 10 mins, then replace the batterys and then push the bell push so it can switch channels and be different from the house down the road
