it sounds like your batteries died out ..if you are getting the data error message, pres the clear button( the on button) to review all old data and transcribe any important info(telephone numbers etc.) then you replace the batteries and hope it keeps all old stuff... if not after the change you need top press the reset button on the back and replace any lost info....good luck

Sorry, if it had COMPLETELY died then there is no way to get that info
back. That's why at tech support we always recommended that you change
the batteries when they started to get low. Sorry again.
