My book shows 3 different configurations on one all but 2 of the pins are hooked up. If you want you could look the hook up info online. Or call the folks at (706) 270 3829 they will send you a email with it in it for free.
A code P0340 could mean one or more of the following has happened:
•a wire or connector in the circuit could be grounded/shorted/broken
•the camshaft position sensor may have failed
•the PCM may have failed
•there exists an open circuit
•the crankshaft position sensor may have failed
With a P0340 OBD-II trouble code, diagnosis can be tricky at times. Here are some things to try:
•Visually inspect all the wiring and connectors in the circuit
•Check for continuity in the circuit wiring
•Check the operation (voltage) of the camshaft position sensor
•Replace the camshaft position sensor as required
•Check the crankshaft position circuit as well
•Replace circuit wiring and/or connectors as required •Diagnose/replace the PCM as required
Yes there is a hp psc 2510 photosmart all-in-one. I have had one for years--although it is not functioning properly now. In answer to your question, though, go to the hp.com website and to america then to support/driver site. enter hp psc 2510 photosmart all-in-one in the search section and go to downloads. download the entire software. this takes a lot of time--even more if you do not have dsl. follow the instructions. also, download the manual if you do not have one.

If you changed out the power supply, and checked all the cables, checked and made sure the power switch was on, checked the switch for 110/220 on back of computer, confirmed it was plugged into a good socket, check the cable that connects the motherboard to the power supply with a voltmeter that may help in isolating the problem. The small motheboard light is on beause the CMOS battery is still supplying the board with some electricity.
On the jumpers, couldn't get you a diagram they are not avabilable; cover pins 1-2 is normal mode; cover pins 2-3 is to configure BIOS; none the BIOS will attempt to configure itself but you have to boot from a cd rom or diskette. Hope this helps. If none of those works then its the motherboard.
Pls rate this solution.
