Wiring diagram for oven Hansa BOEI642. Please help me to find that

There is a programable controller which I suspect that is defective, but I can't find the electric diagram to find out if the controller is 100% defective. There is a rotative switch for selecting the setting temperature with the red led. The red led should be lighting untill the temperature is reached, but is not lighting and I can not activate the controller

SOURCE: Calibration

Electric ovens are calibrated behind the temp knob. Pull the knob straight off of the shaft and look at the back of the knob. There should be a metal slide with a scale and a little set screw. Loosen the screw and move the slide in the direction indicated for your needs.

SOURCE: zanussi electric oven.

The problem is usually a contactor or relay. The thermostat usually doesn't directly control the elements. Follow the wiring diagram or look at the wires from the thermostat. they usually go to a small box and then to the elements The contacts may sometimes stick or always stick. This part is a lot cheaper than the thermostat. Another problem is a burned out element. (Usually the bake element) This can short to ground and not let it turn off. When the elements are on they should glow evenly all over with no hot spots. Look at the broil element also. It is usually at least part way on during baking.

SOURCE: emachines t2865 power led diagram

The header connections that you are looking for are on the edge of the motherboard near the battery. Look for a group of gold contacts sticking straight up at you. The silkscreen tells you which header are for what light or switch. You will see one that says "PWR LED". Another says "PWR SW" Another says "HDD LED". They are printed very small. You will see others in that vicinity that say "SAST1" and "SPKR". Ignore them.Look along the edge where the battery is mounted some are located around the nearby corner but still along the edge. All should be on the edge nearst the front of your machine. Others may be along the edge facing the bottom of your machine.

It's important that high-current devices like microwaves be on their own dedicated breaker.

I would suspect the 20A fuse and then the oven cavity thermostats, in that order.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

At
our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number from the tag on the oven here.

Accessing some components (such as the oven cavity thermostat) for testing and possible replacement will require you to remove the oven from the wall.

If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

You can download Whirlpool owner's manuals and installation instructions here.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Need a wiring diagram for a Smeg Oven SA392EB

I don't know about Smeg, but major appliance manufacturers in the United States generally put a wiring diagram inside the back of the oven, usually either on the back cover or on the back panel of the oven itself. In laundry equipment, sometimes it's folded up or placed in an envelope inside the control panel, but I suspect that would not be the case for stoves because there would be a greater risk of fire.

Good Day I have a Maytag stove model MER5555RCW - the top elements peform as follows: right front and rear elements do not heatup at all. The left front and rear heatup but not to the normal hight heat...

I doubt that the switches are to blame - unless they have been damaged or had something spill inside them an accident or the like.

I found a wiring diagram for the internals of the appliance. You should consult it if you decide to look into the problem. Wires seldom fail along their length - but usually at a connection point. Knowing that, you could look around the inside of the stove but only if you unplug it first. Look for burnt or broken connections at the controls and anywhere they are indicated.. Repair or replace them as needed and reconnect as indicated by the schematic. I'm betting there's a break in a wire at / on one of the connections of a terminal strip or control switch.

Please rate this reply if helpful - good luck! Don't forget UNPLUG the stove before starting!

My old GE oven (JSP38G052BG) won't bake or broil. It start then stop after 1 or 2 minutes. The heating elements get worm. Can you help me please

Hello ediben11.

If your oven's bake or the broiler heating elements won't heat but the range burners still work;the clock may be set for a timed or self-cleaning cycle. So,make sure to check the clock buttons and the knobs are set properly.
*If your clock has a knob that says "push for manual" then push the knob in after that, try the baking and broiling elements again.

*If it still does not work properly, you may have a defect in the thermostat/selector switch/common wiring.

*If the oven does not have a separate bake or broil selector switch; then the thermostat is probably the problem. It is not easy to check the selector switch or thermostat for proper operation. If you suspect a problem in this area, call a qualified appliance repair technician.

Hope this helps.

We have a digital display on our Frigidaire stove it is not working and nor is the oven. The elements are fine. Any suggestions please?

Hi.

A technician should read voltage to the electronic oven control board, to test the EOC in full. For safety reasons testing hot wires is an operation that must be done by a repairman.

If there is no power to electronic control, then the wiring harness must be replaced.

If the oven control display is blank I would exclude that the problem is being caused by faulty element, faulty temperature probe, or defective door latch, all this faults do not cause the display and controls being non-responsive.

Most ovens have display, control board and pads as separate parts, in that case the connectors between parts in the control assembly must be tested.

Parts and diagrams for most models are available here.

Regards.

Ginko.

GE Monogram Convection oven ZET837SB1SS

I would suspect a couple of wires are crossed.

GE puts mini-manuals in their units, which have wiring diagrams, schematics, etc. Very handy.

It will be folded up in a small envelope, usually behind the control panel or hidden elsewhere. That should help you.
