There comes black stuff out of the washer when i spin. Isit the stasoft?

Fill your machine with hot water (if you only have cold water connected, then add hot water with a bucket) until the machine is filled to the top mark. Add a cup of dishwasher powder and stir it to dissolve. You can also let you machine run a short while, but be carefull that the water is not pumped out. Turn the machine off and let it stand overnight. Then turn it on the next morning and let it wash a complete cycle. You don't have to let the rinse part of the cycle complete. Just turn the machine off when the first water has been pumped out.

What this does: The machine builds of a residue between the drum and outer housing which is not removed in the normal wash cycle, especially if you don't wash with hot water. LG recommends that the machine is cleaned in the above way once "fluff" or black residue is starting to show in clothes after washing.

Cold water won't stop before rinse cycle

if it fails to stop running only at the rinse part of the cycle it is probably in the timer as the solenoid valve has to cut the water off when the washer fills for the wash cycle too. fills for wash cycle and cuts off water, washes and drains, refills for rinse cycle and water just keeps running? does this every time you run it? that's in the timer. bad solenoid (water inlet valve) would keep running even on wash fill up. hope this helps.

No water inside washer

Does the water run right through the machine? There must be a way to let it stop inside and do what it is supposed to do. Have you tried to put it on the programme to empty all water? Then I think I would try to let is wash the shortest programme( no washing in the machine) At last let it spin You have before of course checked that all plugs are where they should be, that the water is on, the machine is closed. The dishwash is not washing, it's running but there is no water. The washing cycle is completed but nothing has happen, this recently started.

Sounds like a bad water valve or the water supply is cut off. If the water supply is not cut off then try hooking up 120 volts to the water valve. It should buzz or hum and let water in. If no water goes in then change the valve.

You are better off swapping the valves over in the machine until you can buy a replacement valve. I've done this for a month or so until I replaced the valve. Works as long as you only use a cold wash and your cold water is not too cold as to make the machine want to add some hot. If it does this then simply press start to clear the fault.

Washing machine letting water out on large loads

this sounds like the hose that connects the soap drawer to the drum has a split in it, within the folds, when the machine is empty the folds are closed and the water runs where it should, when loaded the folds are open so the machine leaks, check the hose and replace it, make sure it is located at both ends properly, that is the problem,, if i have helped rate me pleeasse
