My amp just stop is there a reset - Office Equipment & Supplies

1/ Turn off the canon printer
2/ Hold down the Stop/Reset button
3/ Not releasing the Stop/Reset button, hold down the Power button, now release the Stop/Reset button
4/ Not releasing the Power button, double click Stop/Reset button and release both the Power & Stop/Reset button - doesn't matter in which order
5/ Click Stop/Reset button four times
6/ Click the Power button to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber)

You can change the absorber - messy, have it serviced - expensive or you can follow these instructions to reset the notice.

This has worked on MP150 and should work just fine on your MP160.

This will eliminate the ink absorber notice.

printer powered off but connected on power source , you must:
1. Press & hold stop/reset button, and then press & hold [ON/OFF] button.
2. When Green power lit, leave stop/reset button & press twice stop/reset (see orange indicator).
3. Leave On/Off button. Printer in actually service mode.
4. Press stop/reset 4 times (see orange indicator) if not blink restart above process from top.
5. After press stop/reset 4 times successful press On/Off button 3 times. printer will off.
6. Press On/Off button.

printer powered off but connected on power source , you must:

E22 is carriage error.Possible problems in:

- Carriage unit
- Timing **** strip film
- Logic board assembly
- Carriage motor

1. Switch off the printer.
2. Holding button STOP/RESET press the button ON/OFF. Do Not release the buttons.
3. Continuing hold the button ON/OFF release the button STOP/RESET. Do Not release ON/OFF.
4. Continuing hold the button ON/OFF press the button STOP/RESET 2 times and release all buttons.
5. When indicator COPY засветится GREEN - press the button STOP/RESET 4 times for unset памперса.
6. After striking 4 times buttons STOP/RESET press the button ON/OFF 2 times. Switch off the printer by button ON/OFF.
