You should have got $3,070.35 for 15%.

You got 7.52%

1582.32 divided by 20469 times 100.

It is 7.5% of the original amount. Figure the percentage: divide the smaller number by the large number and you will get the percentage. 1538.92 divided by 20469.00=0.07518296 or 7.5%,

What is a pyramid schemes?

Hi Linda, It's called a pyramid because it starts with one person putting money into a fund, Say it's a guy, He then invite as many people as he can(say 10) to do the same and then those 10 people invite as many as they can(say 10 each x10=100) and so on100x10=1,000) and on(1,000x10=10,000)... see how it grows... And what happens is the 1st guy gets a percentage of the money from the 10 people he invites plus a percentage from the 100 people they invited and it goes on and on, , the people he invited get a percentage of the people they invite plus a percentage from the people they invited and so on and on and it just keeps going and going and the higher on the list you are the more money you get but the lower on the list you are the more you struggle as it gets harder and harder to make money because everybody above you on the list are all getting a percentage from people all down the list until eventually everybody on the bottom of the list looses all their money and that's why it's *******......DO NOT DO IT, If you make any money from this scheme just know it's from people loosing theirs, Take care.........

What is formula to find percentage of females in my workplace?

      To get around this, you can calculate your numbers as percentages first. For example, if you type the formula =10/100 in cell A2, Excel will display the result as 0.1. If you then format that decimal as a percentage, the number will be displayed as 10%, as you 'd expect.Aug 2, 2011

Do video slots pay out as much as reel slots?

They pay based on hold percentages pre-set (but adjustable) chips. In Wisconsin for instance the native casinos are not allowed to choose the hold percentage the state dictates the % with the compact in place. The type of machine has no bearing on outcome. Slot machine broken down to the simplest form are random number generators. Certain combos of #'s trigger different outcomes, there is little to no chance a player can affect the outcome.

Wha is a percentage number of another of another

Hmmm. Could you give more details? Are you wanting to find a percentage? If so, here's an example - 10% of 100 is 10.
Multiply 100 by .10 = 10.

So to find the percentage of a number, multiply the number in question by the decimal version of the percentage. 8% is .08, 15% is .15, etc.

I hope that helps!

When an amount is increases by 15% it becomes $117300. Find rthe original amount.

Your problem is that of percentage increase.

To calculate that, this is what you do:

Initial amount (Initial amount * percentage) = Percentage increase.

Let us call the initial amount, x.

Then our parameters are:
Initial amount = x
Percentage = 15/100
Final amount = 117300

x (x * 15/100) = 117300
x (15x/100) = 117300
(x/1) (15x/100) = 117300
(100x 15x)/100 = 117300
115x/100 = 117300

cross multiplying
115x * 1 = 117300 * 100
115x = 11730000

dividing both sides by 115

115x/115 = 11730000/115
x = 102000.

So the original amount was $ 102000.

Hope that was helpful?
Have a wonderful day.

EMPLOYEE MAKES $52,612.00 will get a 15% incentive. What will the amount of the incentive be?

The amount of the incentive is the percentage, or fraction of the total amount.

To calculate the incentive, multiply the total amount by the percentage all over hundred:

that is,
Incentive = (initial amount) * (percentage/100)

In this case, we have:

Incentive = (52612) * (15/100)
= 52612 * 0.15
= 7891.8.

So, the incentive would be $7891.8

Hope that was helpful?
Take care.

Can my 2001 lincoln navigator use ethanol

Check with your Ford dealer to be sure, but generally any car can use gasoline with up to 10% ethanol blended in. To use a higher percentage of ethanol, such as E-85 (85% ethanol, 15% gasoline), it requires a special fuel pump and a special computer program, and sometimes other changes as well.
So unless the vehicle is marked for E-85 or another alternate fuel, I would not use more than a 10% ethanol/90% gasoline blend.

Acer,Aspire 5720-4663 Math calculator: How does one use the percentage function?

Hi. Try this steps on using your math calculator for the percentage function.

Hope This Helps

Step 1. Note that not all calculators behave the same way as far as the percentage key is concerned. Thus, test the examples in this article on your calculator. If your calculator does not have the percent key or does not behave in the way described here, don't despair - you can still use it to calculate percentages, it's just that you will have to press a few more buttons.
Step 2. Let's calculate a tip on your restaurant bill. Suppose your bill happens to be $64.35 and you would like to leave 15% tip.
Type the following into your calculator: 64.35 * 15 %
Answer: 9.6525 or $9.65 after rounding.
Most simple calculators will give an answer right here without having to press the = sign. If yours does not, press = and see if you get the right answer.
Alternatively, you can calculate this percentage by typing in
64.35 * 15 / 100 or 64.35 * 0.15
Thus, you may have observed that all that the percent key did here was division by a hundred.
Step 3. Let's calculate a grade percentage - say you got 34 out of a maximum of 40 points.
To figure out your grade percentage type in: 34 / 40 %
Answer: 85
Alternatively, without the percent key: 34 / 40 * 100
Step 4. Let's calculate a sale price on those shoes that originally cost $139, but are now discounted by 35%.
On your calculator type in: 139 - 35 % =
Answer: 90.35 or $90.35
This calculation is amazingly easy with the percent key! Alternatively, you would first have to calculate what the 35% of the $139 is and then subtract it from 139:
139 * 35 / 100 = 48.65
139 - 48.65 = 90.35

Hope This Helps
