SOURCE: Sound Lag
This is a known issue (though Aiptek might deny it) with this model. Check out this forum at Steve's Digicams for posts on the MPVR and the lag:
It can be fixed with video editing software. I use Windows Movie Maker to copy the audio track from the video and paste it back in as a separate audio track. Then I mute the original and cut very little snips off the pasted-in audio track and slide it over until it matches the video.
It's supposed to be possible to fix this problem with software that will reduce the framerate from 30fps to 29.97fps or 25fps (don't remember which), but I haven't had any luck with that method so far.

I have tried several versions of Pinnacle products over the years, and have had serious problems with ALL of them. Constant crashes, re-boots, glitches, dropped frames, etc. Sound lagging behind the picture is one of many problems, and can be avoided only be capturing short clips and editing them together. A real pain. i finally gave up on Pinnacle and bought Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum. It has a longer learing curve than Pinnacle, but in the long run it has more features and is very stable. Sony Vegas also works with Vista. Pinnacle 10 does NOT, depsite what Pinnacle and the salespeople tell you.

SOURCE: slow video, lags behind audio
You didn't include any specs on your computer but most of the time this is an issue that might be helped by maxing out the memory in your pc. However check your pc to see how much memory it has and then check the specs on your pc to see how much memory the BIOS will recognise, but keep in mind that sometimes if you're broadcasting video thru the internet you are at the mercy of the data stream on the net. Sometimes when traffic is heavy at some sites the video will lag and there is no solution.
