Have a look on remote control to see if there is a Q menu button if so push that and you can adjust there.

try getting the onscreen menu up and then going to the aspect ratio setting
change that until the picture fits the screen
go -ok then exit

There is a key on the TV remote control for adjusting the size of the picture. On pressing this key you will get the options of the picture size like 4:3, 16:9, Zoom, Wide etc. You can choose the size you like.

The screen size is also called the aspect of the TV. look in your menu for aspect ratio.

Sounds as though your screen is in zoom mode. Have a look on the remote for an option button like "aspect" or 16:9/4:3
