Loggin yahoo email

First of all, create a Gmail account, if possible.

Log into Yahoo mail at mail.yahoo.com

Find the forward email settings on Yahoo

Type in your new Gmail account and save.

Now all email to your yahoo account will be forwarded to your Gmail account. You will still have a copy of your Yahoo mail if you checked to keep a copy of the Yahoo mail on the Yahoo servers.

I have quickbooks pro 2011, I made an accountants copy now i cant do anything on quickbooks, can i cancel the accountants copy ????

Yes. But you cannot then import the accountant's changes. If you are sure this is what you want to do, open the file, click on File:Accountant's Copy:Client Activities:Remove Restrictions. Confirm and save.

Need to copy and paste a range of checkbook transactions f

you should not do that.... you should keep the transactions in the account were it belongs.

maybe you transfer some funds from the old to the new account? that should make the link between the accounts, but that does not mean that now all the movements in the old account are part of the new account.

you can have more than one account in your quick books.

but, if you really want to do it, instead of move the transactions, consider just changing the old account information, to match the new one account, and all the new transacctions will arrive to the same account.

does it make sense?

I have created an "accountants copy" in error. However, now I am unable to do certain tasks. I need to delete this without losing anything. HOW? Please help, would not want to lose my job over this.

Hi, By the sound of your question, I'm assuming that you're talking about Quickbooks. The Accountant's copy isn't intended to be a full function copy of the company file. It's a copy that's good enough for financial review, not full-function operation. If you want to have all functions, you'll need to open the original company file (ending with .QBW). It would be the file that you created the accountant's copy from. Once you find the original company file, verify that you can open it, and once you've found it - you can delete the Accountant's copy. As long as the original company file isn't touched or damaged, you should be fine.

Hi there,

Well yes it is possible to copy and past your data from one account to another account, but you need to download that data and you can manually past that data to your another account.
just go to your account from which you need to copy the data and then copy to your computer after that you can past it to your new account.

Good Luck!!

Thanks

I need to know the steps to save data onto usb memory stick from accounting program

I suggest that you save your data with Simply Accounting and know where you save it. In window explorer, find the file you saved and copy it to the USB memory stick. You should see the USB memory stick as another drive in Windows Explorer. After the copy is complete, Click the USB memory stick and you should see the file. This way, the copy (back up) is confirmed.

1.Open Control Panel 2. Users 3. Add new user 4. Copy data from old user account (Found under C:\Documents and Settings\(Your User Name Here)
