SOURCE: blower stays on with new themostat

Check to see if there is a short between the green wire and the red wire. Green is the fan control wire for AC. Sounds like some wires may be touching. How did the old t-stat get fried?

SOURCE: goodman gds80703 turns on and off intermittendly 3 light blinks

There will be a diagnostic code that will blink on the control board. Look thru the clear window at the control board after the unit does not light up. On the reverse of the front panel, you will find a wiring diagram and in that area there will be a diagnostic code table. Sounds like a bad gas valve.

SOURCE: GMPN 100-4 furnace. Blower motor runs when not calling for heat.

The board is bad. The unit thinks a flame is present, so it tells the blower to come on. Replace the board.

Turns on & off..but, no heat. electric furnace Is there a RESET button on a Nordyne electric furnace?

Does the fan run normally? Or does it run all the time? If the fan operation is normal the problem may be a bad heat sequencers(relays) or the heat strip itself could be defective. Kill the high voltage grab a meter and disconnect the wires from the heat strip and ohm out the winding. If it's open then that's a problem. If it has a value ( probably low that's ok) then they should be good. Plug all wires back in. Move to the the heat sequencers look for any burnt wires. The low voltage should be blue and white wires maybe brown (second stage normally). This is the part that requires live testing of the system do not attempt if u are not familiar or comfortable with high careful. With all wire plugged back in and the panels off turn on the high voltage. With the meter check for low voltage across the heat sequencers to should read 24+ volts across the blue and white. This would indicate a on switch. if on then check for the lead that come from the high voltage to the heat sequencers red wire usually. This wire is hot always. Check between the chassis and this lead for 120 vac. If u have the switch on and high voltage present there should be high voltage on the opposite terminal check with meter. In no voltage the sequencer is bad. Hope this helps. Oh if no low voltage check tstat wire (white) and then check the tstat for correct programming if digital.. you might do that step first btw

Vitamix 3600 manual

Get a switch with the same or higher voltage and current rating, and similar mounting and terminal connections. If you can't find the rating on the switch itself, use the nameplate rating on the appliance label.

Once you have these numbers, go to the Carling Tech toggle switch page and drill down through the selections to identify what you need. Toggle Switches

I want to replace our old carling toggle switch to a new timer switch for an attic fan. I have 2 black wires and one red. My new switch has one black one red and one green wire.....what do I do?

Is the fan 2-speed?
Old switch has 2 black and 1 red... sounds like 2-speed.
One black is probably Hot, and other black and red go to each speed??
Choose 1 speed and wire timer as follows:
Add a comment with more details about the timer you are using, and include if fan is 2-speed and what each wire tests.

There are many different kinds of carling switches.
Generally a carling switch has 2 or more screw terminals, consisting of the center-or-middle screw, and the screw-or-screws on end of switch
The middle screw is Common screw > this is where you connect Hot wire from circuit breaker or battery.
The wire going to load (light, fan, motor) connects to screw on end of switch.
In the case where switch has 1 middle screw and 2 screws on end of switch, the Hot connects to middle, and then Load wires connect to each end screw. When the switch is toggled back and forth, one of the end screws receives power, or the other end screw receives power.

Heat pump Thermastats have Terminals RYW/OW2 G C. I run into this a lot with people buying tStats at home depot. To wire three sages of heat you must have correct tstat. one stage cool and three stage heat. You have to have enough wires at the Tstat. I use white first stage brown second and grey or black third. Make a diagram where each wire goes. Remember to trun of air handler power or you will short the transformer or blow low voltage fuse. Yellow cool, green fan, most of the time blue is c unless it is a battery tstat. orange is O. Red R ot power wire. Rusty

Anyone have a wireing diagram for a nordyne E1EH-015HA

Intertherm does not offer a wiring diagram for the E1 series anymore. So I have included a link to the E2 series. They are very similar and you may find this service manual helpful for whatever problem you may be having.

Intertherm E1EH-015HA FURNACE no heat

Sounds like a downflow electric furnace? If so it sounds like you have 15kw worth of electric heat, you might have a defective heating sequencer, witch is what they call a dual on one plate.
