Translate Text to Other Languages in Microsoft Word 2007

The world has become a global village where you need to communicate with people of diverse cultures and languages. We come across people who speak different languages on the internet, or we need to communicate with different people in the global business market. Sometimes we need to translate business documents as everybody doesn’t speak the same language. Students might need to translate some facts as well as information e.g. the history of a specific country into their own language in order to learn about its history.
Everyone can’t have an access to a professional translator who could help them out in this matter. Due to this reason, word-processing programs are available who try to fulfill this requirement. Other than the different programs which fill this requirement, it is possible to translate text in Microsoft Word 2007. The feature to translate text in Microsoft Word 2007 can be used like any other translation program. In order to translate text in Microsoft Word 2007, we just have to use its built-in function.
Follow the given steps to translate word text into other languages:

  • Select the text you want to translate. You can type it there and then or you could paste it from somewhere. If you need to select the entire document, and if it is very lengthy, you can go back to the "edit" tab and click "select all." Or you can just highlight the entire or part of the text by clicking the left mouse button and dragging it across the text you want to highlight.

  • Click on Review button on Menu bar.

  • Click on Translate in the Review tab.

  • A task pane will appear on the right side of the document. Select which language you would like to translate into or the existing language it is in. Here is where you can select which language to translate to or from.

  • The selected or highlighted text will be translated in the lower part of the task pane. You can get the translation of the same text into different languages instantly as you choose the language under the option of "To".

If you need to translate the selected text into a language that is not included in the given list, click on Translation options and select the particular language you want.

This helpful feature to translate text in Microsoft Word is very handy. However, there is no substitute for a human professional translator as good and meaningful translation demands comprehension as well as understanding of cultural references, artistic quality and talent. So there are chances that the translation done by a computer program will lack profundity as well as meaning.

I would like my facebook to be in English

You need to get to the settings page. in the top right hand corner there is a little arrow pointing down. click there and it will open up a drop down list. settings is the 6th option down from the top. the page it will take you to is the general settings page. the 6th option down on this list is language. to the right of it is a little edit button that will allow you to change the language to english or anything else. I will include 2 links to apps on ios and android that can be used to translate text on the fly using the camera if you have a tablet or smartphone.:

How do i change my conputer language

First off i got to ask do you have Windows or a Linux based OS on your PC? I was also wondering if your trying to translate to a language like English to Chinese or simply want your computer to have a completely different language on it? I wrote several ideas I had on mind below that can hopefully give you a good start.
In my experience their are several ways to install or configure different languages for a PC. I know that some browsers will come with or provide extensions that translate English to like Chinese or to other languages. I also know that Windows Update will provide language packs for people who need not only their browser translating languages, but also their OS to have a different language.. If your language packs where not hidden when you set up the PC then you can find it by clicking search on Windows Update. If not, then Microsoft should have a site that lets you search for those kind of Windows Updates. Also if your using Linux they give you an option to what language you want when you install their operating system. I don't know your an exact OS so if you need any help just let me know.

I was trying to update iphone and every thing is gone from my phone. Is it in itunes somehow?

What os were you updating to?
If you were upgrading to iOS 5 from any version of iOS 4, your apps will have all been deleted. If you've been syncing your contacts, mail and calendars you should be able to resync that data. Messages and photos should still be there.
Apps, music, video and books can be synced from a backup in the iTunes library if you've been backing up properly. You can also redownload all applications you had previously installed and install them again for free.

The phone only shows and leaves messages in Spanish. I need to change to English

Hi,
You did not specify the phone you are using. But I have some suggestion for you.
If since you dont know spanish here are the most popular translations...

Settings = prog

Phone Settings = Programacion de Telefono

Language = Idioma

English = english
Or look in the phone manual, available on the net if you've lost yours, and see how to do a hard reset. THat would reset the language back to English .
You take it to the company where you bought the phone.
Regards

How to change my laptop language to english from espanoil {acer extensa 5630EZ}

With additional language files, you can change the display language on your computer so that you can view wizards, dialog boxes, menus, Help topics, and other items in Windows in a different language.

There are two types of language files:

Windows Vista Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI).‌ Windows Vista MUIs provide a translated version of most of the user interface. MUIs require a license to be used and are only available with Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows Vista Enterprise. If you are using Windows Vista Ultimate, you can download MUIs by using Windows Update. If you are using Windows Vista Enterprise, contact your system administrator for information about installing additional languages.

Windows Vista Language Interface Pack (LIP).‌ Windows Vista LIPs provide a translated version of the most widely used areas of the user interface. LIPs are freely available to download, and most LIPs can be installed and used on any edition of Windows Vista. Because not all of the user interface is translated, LIPs require at least one parent language. The parts of the user interface that are not translated into the LIP language are displayed in the parent language. When you download a LIP, you get the parent language requirements for that language. The parent language pack needs to be installed before the LIP can be installed. For more information, including a list of languages available for downloading, go to the Microsoft Local Language website.

You can download "translator" from the Android Marketplace. Then Translate what you want to say, then copy and paste it into the message.
Hope this helps.

PS. There are a couple different apps for translating. You'll just have to thumb through them and see which one you like better. They all pretty much do the same thing...
