What is the age of my Wurlitzer piano serial number 192157?

Free Piano Age Research Look here. It looks like it was built between 1939 and 1940. Go down the page til you find Wurlitzer; after 1937: The year built is found by finding the serial number 192157, which would be between 180000 and 195000. That would make it having been built between 1939 and 1940. Hopefully, that's correct.

Denon AVR 1910 Volume Level

My Pioneer VSX-36TX (circa 2002) does the same thing. Modern AVR's count up from minus something to 0db and go just a few db higher into 'plus' territory. It seems arbitrary but that's how it is.

Ask yourself this: who ever really turned the volume knob up to maximum on any amp on purpose, and had speakers survive it? In other words, why have all that capacity on a potentiometer if you never use it?

Little known fact: With that in mind, Bose Corp actually designed a product that intentionally used the full physical travel of a volume control - the Bose Acoustic Wave Music System.

Hi Sabine,

Sounds like the PC you're using needs some extra codecs to get a smooth playback of your media I would advise downloading a codec pack like the "K-lite Codec Pack" which should have everything you need to get everything working for you.
