Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

With a case branded CAC-T05-UW (ATX Mid-Tower Case) what power supply would you recommend?

If you are adding any graphics card to your machine, then you can buy 400w SMPS, that would be enough....
If you use any graphics card then better go for 600w or 800w depending upon the need...!

My monitor doesn't show anything. The little blue light on the bottom is blinking as it does when the tower is turned off, but the tower is on.

Sounds like your video card has failed. Do you have on-board video, integrated into the motherboard? What is the make and model of your tower? Might, if that is indeed the problem, be able to install another, better, video card in an expansion slot, if existant.

Grinding noise in tower

Grinding noise in tower If everything on your computer is working fine then it is probaly a fan put your ear in the back of your tower near the power cord and see if you can hear the grinding noise better if you can then your power supply's fan is going out if not its probally one of the inside fans in your tower open up your tower and see if you can find which fan it is if you dont want to do this you should probaly get a tech to look at it it's a pretty cheap fix and it can save your computer from heat dammage

F1903 not turning on with tower when restarting

Get a PCI or VGA video Card!

I'd recommend at least somethin like a

nVidia GeForce 7300 GT (256mb) Video Card
You can get one for dirt cheap on Newegg.com
Or your local PC store/Repair shop.

The Problem you are having is your Video Card Driver isn't the correct one, or it's got issues...
You should get a better video card.....yours might be onboard or really low-end rated.

FYI -

Pre-Manufactured PCs generally ****..... I build WAY better PCs for less.

HPs ****, but not as bad as a Dell (Dell does make the best pre mf 'd Servers which is ironic!)
but the worst pre mf'd PC I've ever fixed was a GATEWAY........

No power

it depends if your computer is under warranty. it is some kinda expensive to fix since its the power source thats been affected. better bring it immediately to a computer technician or your computer manufacturer if it is still under warranty. also it depends if the computer monitor has been affected also.. if it is only the main computer tower you can just buy a new computer tower and have it set up with your monitor.

Where can I purchase...

Jason

I think is better to get your equipment, to repair shop and see to fix the input for the sound, it is better, or buy a new board, it is cheap, you may found, on 140.00 less ASUS or SOYO brands,
good luck

Green light blinking screen blank

Hi Suzee,

Is the green flashing on the tower or the monitor?

If it is flashing on the monitor, then it might be tht the monitor is not gettign signal from the tower.
To check, disconnect the monitor from the tower and check the monitor. If you get a msg on the screen like no input signal or check video cable, then 99% monitor is fine.

Check for the power supply light at the back of the tower.

Disconnect everything from the computer and then press and hold the power button on the comp for about 30 seconds.

Then connect the cables and check if it is working.
