If the presser foot has an clear glass eye (sensor), check that it is not dirty, dusty, or marred (perhaps a fingerprint). Anything that interferes with the machine's ability to recognize an accessory will prevent its use.

Janome 11000 skipped stitches if any are even made at all

Skipped stitches sometimes occur if the machine is incorrectly threaded. Remove the thread and re-thread from the beginning (first RAISE the presser foot so the thread will seat in the tension disk).
Confirm that the thread follows the correct pathway (consult manual).
Try installing a brand-new needle.
Make sure the needle, thread, and fabric are compatible.

All About Needles

If it continues to not pull up the bobbin thread, the needle/hook could be out of time. May require service.

My janome 11000 memorycraft's needle threader has jammed in the down position and cannot be moved

Thanks to floraq803, we have our 11000 working again. The needle threader was stuck in the down position. We turned off the machine, and turned the wheel (which controls where the needle is) until the needle threader bar was straight (approximately 1/2 way between the needle being all the way down and all the way up). Turned on the machine and the threader came back up again. Now back to sewing.

My memory craft 11000 says pressure foot P everytime i try to embroidery, i have the p foot on there.... Help please, I paid way to much for this machine for it to not embroidery

Dust your Janome with some canned air in and around the entire sewing area. Hopefully your sensor is just dusty and not seeing presser foot P.

I've been reading some info and this machine doesn't get very good reviews since a lot of people have had to have their mother board replaced and still have problems when that's done.

There are updates for your machine that might help some as well. They can be foud here. http://content.janome.com/index.cfm/LearningCenter/Software_Updates

Janome 11000, upper thread becomes tight when presser foot is put down. When attempting to sew, the bobbin tangles and bobbin case is dislodged

Re-thread the machine (presser foot up), making sure the thread is going through the opening in the up-take lever.

Is this machine a high or low shank? I'm trying to buy a 1/4" quilting foot or seam foot and not sure which foot to buy.

High Shank Machines are all the Janome Embroidery models MC 8000, MC 9000, 10000, 10001, 11000, 200E, 300E, 350E....etc
If yours is not an embroidery machine, it has a LOW SHANK .....the higher shank allows for easier access for the embroidery hoop.

I have a Janome 11000-it won't embroidery

You have to be sure you have the correct foot on the machine and that it is put on correctly. You can't use a regular foot - you need to use the embroidery foot P, which require you to remove the foot holder altogether, and put on the P.
