SOURCE: Dyson DC-07 Hose Wand Spring Came Out. How to put back in?

You'll see that there is a round piece with a cross shape on the inside of the button wand release button - place the end of the spring over the cross - you'll see the same cross on the collar of the machine...it'll take some doing, but line the other end of the spring up with the cross and pop the button back into place - be sure to click it onto those two gray circular/oval shaped divets at the bottom where the release button connects to so that the button stays in place.

Hi its Darran at Dyson.

Simply switch the machine off and stand it upright. Press the brush bar on/off switch once and then turn the machine back on.

When you release the machine into the vacuuming position, the brush bar should start to turn again.

SOURCE: Hello, what is the significance

yes the reason the green and red light were flashing the way they are is because its a warning to you that the battery is either no longer good or there is problems with your wireing. Also those vaccumes were designed to not charge when there to cold or to hot as a saftey issue.

I have a dc 44 for pets and the machine runs for a minute and stops then again?

Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.

There are a number of reasons why your Dyson cleaner is running on and off. First, it can be due to a battery of the cleaner. Make sure that the power cable is properly plug to the power and seated properly from the unit while charging. If you find that the battery isn't charging at all, you may need to replace the battery. Second is to check the MAX button of your cleaner. If the button lights up and flashes when your Dyson keeps on pulsating, press and hold the power button and depress the MAX button to turn off the function. You may need to do it for a few times to get the hang of it. Third is to check for any blockages or clogs in the attachments. Look down through the tube and check to see if there are clogs on the sweeper end or if the roller is tangled up in fibers. Clean the roller brush are if it it's necessary. You may need to empty the dust bin of your unit as debris can build up in hard to reach places. Lastly, cleaning the filters may fix the pulsating of your cleaner. Remove the filter and rinse it with cold water and air dry it for 12 hours. Don't use detergent when washing your filters. If the pulsating doesn't go with the given quick fix, I suggest to contact Dyson for further assistance on this.

The V6 seems to be permanently on 'Max'

Hi Sandy, it's Jack at Dyson.

Our V6 cord-free vacuums have two power modes. There's regular high power for day to day vacuuming tasks, and Max mode for tackling really stubborn dirt, clinging pet hair etc.

To change between modes, you need to hold down the red on/off trigger so the vacuum is running. Then at the same time, press and release the illuminated Max button on the rear of the main body. You'll hear a change in the sound the motor makes when you switch between modes:

I can't the the max mode to turn off. How do I fix this?

Hi Kayla, it's Jack at Dyson.

To switch between Max mode and regular mode, first hold down the red on/off trigger, so the vacuum is running. Then at the same time, press and release the Max button on the rear of the machine. The machine is designed in this way to make Max button can't be activated accidentally. When running in Max mode, the button will light up.
